I don't know what you're talking about, I've always looked like this.

[Frustrated Irish Noises] · 12:03am Jun 21st, 2015

*Writes timeskip chapters and thinks he is very clever
*Writes a scene were Handy uses his authority as Sword of the king to give an overworked Joachim the night off and get much needed sleep, deals with irritable petitioners in his stead.
*Sees today's episode.
*Exactly the same concept.
*Flips laptop.

Ugh well, thats what I get for having a family barbeque and slipping into a food coma for seven hours, (I was also very tired). But at least its only the one scene and not the entire plot of that chapter spoiled, ah well.

In good news however, there'll be another Handyman Can't Draw tomorrow but I haven't figured out what I want to draw yet, if there's someone or something from the story you'd like to see illustrated, feel free to ask, I might just do it. I am also working on maps of middle Equestria and the Badlands (so calm yer tits JBL). Figured out a new way to draw heavy forests that looks better and is a hundred times easier, no more fucking around with filters!

On top of that I feel like being an especially dickish asshole. Read on to find out more!

I post an awful lot of blogs per month so I figured why not make a game of it?

Basically I have created a cipher. The game involves translating the coded message to reveal what I truly feel about the story I am writing. It doesn't contain spoilers or neccessary hidden information about the story so you don't 'need' to figure it out, I'm not that much of a dick, this is just for some fun.

This is my first cipher and I kinda experimented with it. But to give people a head's up, the cipher is based on the Vigenère cipher, you can look that up in your own time. I just so happened to have also replaced the alphabet with symbols of my own divising. All you need to know is that this cipher requires a keyword in order to decipher it. But fear not! I'm going to give you the key word itself! Right now!

Oh the keyword is also encoded. Don't worry, in the keyword's case the symbols just replace the letters, there's no deciphering necessary beyond just figuring out which symbol means which letter. Then you can use that keyword to dipher the message. Yes I did just spend time making two separate symbolic alphabets for this game, why do you ask?

Now the basic way this will work is I will be asking a riddle at the end of each blog, sometimes two if I am feeling creative that night. When someone gives a correct answer in the comments I lock one of the symbols of the message in place. The symbols themselves and their respective alphabetic counterparts will be revealed through hints in the story itself, usually in the author's notes so as to not be too intrusive to readers who don't follow the blog, this is just for you guys afterall.

Now this is my first cipher so I am telling you, straight up, I am pretty sure I fucked it up somehow, so if it becomes fruitless down the road, I can only apologize. I can garauntee you the end message that's been encoded is in English, briefly I contemplated making the message in Latin or Gaelige, but that's a level of depth that was just unnecessarily annoying.

...Maybe I've been watching too much Gravity Falls.

Anyway, here's the first Riddle and its an easy one, get this right and I'll also throw in the meaning of one of symbols of the alphabet the keyword is coded with.

"I always go up, and never come down, I am taller than the trees and as old as the ground. What am I?"

The Answer: A Mountain
Congratulations Ikiostar!

Cipher symbol locked in place, coded keyword letter revealed.

Yer a jackass~ :D

Did Handy got tempted to feed from any of the atendees to get a boost?

Also the Sky

The Sun?

edit: No, cause sunsets...

A Mountain?

3166873 Atendees? What atendees? Oh right the scene, eh dont worry about it, its one of the timeskipped chapters that's coming out.

Also sorry, wrong answer.

3166871 I try. :ajsmug:

3166895 Thanks, friend.

So how do frustrated Irish noises sound? *booze booze booze booze*?

3166895 Damn, I was an hour late!

Fraking terrain and their quadruped masters!

This chapter plot sounds like a great idea to me! I'm getting all giddy about it.

Not sure what you should draw yet?

I absolutely loved the festival and think that a part of that would look great in picture, however, the forsaken village in the Greenwoods confused the hell out of me. I read that part twice and still couldn't figure out just how that place worked. Either would be nice. Both would be great.

3166996 More like *potato potato*

3166997 Not her fault she couldn't wait to answer correctly =]

3167347 Hey now

3167531 k

3167681 Hm, so either a really detailed scene with lots of characters or a really spooky scene that is hard to convey.

You don't half request drawings.

3167989
I considered that possibility, but I am told it would have been kind of racist. I am now frustrated with you. *Schweinhund Ach Mein Leben*

3167989 Potato booze then? Sounds like vodka

3167989 Heh, I guess not. You could still find ways to chop it down so it won't be that hard. Cut some corners so you don't wreck your wrist. I won't blame you.

Personally, I'd like to see Thunder drawn, in his cheeky fucking fedora

3167989 No seriously, it would be interesting how Joahcim would deal with stuff, vs Handy. And how would an alien deal with the business of running a Griffin kingdom? What would be the reactions of the public, supportive fans or raging rebels? I have a feeling he would be a bit tyrannical.

3169844 Its a less of fulfilling the king's duties for a prolonged period like a regent and more a scene of him taking over for, like, an evening.

3169911 I know that, yet I am very interested.
