The endless summer...is over. · 2:04am Jun 13th, 2015

It's been...a hell of a lot more than 104 days of summer vacation.

The series finale came along to end it.

Without dropping any spoilers...

I was honestly...pretty disappointed by the series finale of Phineas and Ferb. The only part I really, truly liked was the song at the VERY end. The rest of it was...meh.

"Act Your Age" serves as a MUCH better series finale than "Last Day of Summer".

It was repetitive, but that is what they were going for.

I agree that "Act Your Age" was better, but this one had something about it that worked.

Also, It's muffin time.

The show just needed a peaceful send off. Success.
That wave at the end...awww.

Anyway, If you need me, I'll be over there swimming for Gravity Falls and Star vs the Forces Of Evil

3143551 Orange you glad I didn't say something else?

*roar*
I hope the lions crave orange puns.

3143569 I couldn't help my self. I love terrible jokes like that.

3143572 Its funny one way or another.
(If that's another quote, I lost.)

3143597 Don't bee sad. They have a special coming out this fall.

I like to believe that Phineas and Ferb takes place over 2 or more summers. There was an episode that took place on Halloween, Phineas' voiced changed after a few episodes, and the museum visits may have been field trips of some sort.

Totally agree with you on "Act Your Age" serving as a much better series finale. But it was still a good send off for the series, Doofenshmirtz story arc was probably the best thing about it. It was nice to see him get what he thought he wanted, only to realize it wasn't what he needed. And his redemption was a very nice touch, and perfectly bridges his character to "Act Your Age".

3159032 So true. Incidentally, I'm planning to write a P&F story in the near future set AFTER LDoS, which delves into how Vanessa ended up breaking up with Monty and going out with Ferb. It'll be a while, but one thing I've got planned for it is how to put Monty on a bus: he enrolls in an agent exchange program with COWCA and ends up in a relationship with Lyla Lolliberry.
