Chapter 2 and Schedule Changes · 6:52pm Jun 11th, 2015
Short version:
I'm dropping my sunday release schedule for reasons, and I'm likely to add on to chapter two before finishing chapter three.
Long version:
After thinking on it for some time, I figured out what it was about chapter two that bothered me, and what brought it about.
Not enough Cadance.
And what I mean about that, is I felt she didn't have as much presence as I wanted her to have, which is a big deal, since this was her first appearance in the grown-up segment of the Trioverse.(written-wise)
And the reason I saw for this, you may have guessed, is because I decided to try writing on a schedule.
It was an experiment, and the experiment is over, and from it I've come to understand a little more about myself.
For the first two chapters of Shadow's Flare, I was still working on them the day I posted them, and I feel the quality of my writing dropped for it. As I'm a terrible procrastinator, I should have honestly seen this coming.
It also didn't help that my work schedule never seemed to line up with my writing schedule.
So, I'll be going back to releasing chapters when they're finished.
I want to return to chapter two and adress my issue with it, but I haven't quite figured out how to do that yet. I don't intend to change what happened, just slip in a little extra 'til I'm satisfied with the chapter.
So, chapter three will be a while away, likely coming out during the middle of next week.
Thanks for reading the long version, and I'm really sorry if you were looking forward to reading chapter three on Sunday night.
No worries. I love your stories and wouldn't want you to publish something you aren't satisfied with. Looking forward to more.

A good story is worth the wait. Heck there is a story out there that went to Haitus for 3 whole years before it was finished and I still love it. ^^
Creativity is a fickle thing. It comes and goes as the winds. One cannot force them to blow, but when they do, one must catch them in their sails for all they are worth. Until then, one must simply be patient, and wait for the wind to blow.
