042 New story: Arcane Realms

Here's a list of what to expect from Arcane Realms:
- a [Slice of Life] rated E for Everyone set fifteen years into the future,
- Spike, a maturing dragon who does magic and isn't just a comic relief,
- Twilight Sparkle, an adorkable pony doing her best to act all princess-y while being a caring sort-of-sister,
- Silver Spoon, a dedicated member of the Royal Guard by her Princess's side,
- in-depth look at the theory of magic I'm utilizing across my stories, and why dragon magic is dangerous.

Also, this story exist only because I liked the wonderful art by Equestria-Prevails (I borrowed the title - check the source linked in the cover art to find the original on deviantART), and I thought that there may be a tale behind it just waiting to be uncovered. It started as a one-shot, but there may be more to it, so please read the author's notes and let me know what you think.

Spike takes an entry exam at Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Individuals. Twilight is there to witness it, and she is not too happy with what she sees.
