Big Mac's Thoughts · 6:34pm Apr 10th, 2015

Big Mac:

I'm not usually one for words. I let other folks take care of Equestria; I, myself, have always had Sweet Apple Acres to tend to. Some ponies see that as philosophical. I suppose they might be right.

It wasn't always this way. There was a time before the farm was here, before my family called this place home. Sometimes, I try to imagine what it was like back then, try to see if what I'm doing is any better. Day in and day out, I take care of the fields, tend to the harvest and things have worked out pretty well so far. I never know exactly what to expect next season or what kind of weather we'll have. But, for some reason, I think I like it better that way.

Things have changed, will change and keep changing. I don't know how long Sweet Apple Acres will stay this way, just the family and the fields. Folks like Flim and Flam stir things up now and then and it does make me think about the future. New technology, new ponies, new things always happening and we're forced to adapt when they happen. Our family's been able to get through it each time though, and I believe there's nothing we can't overcome together. I keep going for them, for AJ, Granny Smith and Applebloom. With all of us together, I figure there ain't nothing we can't handle. That doesn't stop things from changing but it does make it easier to through, with family.

I've come to accept that tomorrow, I might wake up to see the whole world's turned upside down and there's nothing I can do about it. But, as long as I can pull a plow, I figure Sweet Apple Acre's will be just fine.

Yeah?

Well, everypony calls me a runt.

I'm a Shetland. I'm supposed to be this small!

Sounds like things are getting serious. MUST CATCH UP AT ALL COSTS! :pinkiecrazy:
(Seriously though, how did I, a somewhat lazy writer, manage to become so busy?)
