    It's Over

(I'm not killing myself. I'm just logging off here because I need to get my life on track. So this is the last time you'll see a blog, story or even a word from me. Sorry for the scare.)

    Thanks Guys

Thanks guys for the kind messages. At the time, I was feeling alone and depressed to the point I wanted to hide from everyone and just vanish without a trace, but seeing this helped me a bit with the issues. I didn't make the other blog because I wanted attention or a cry for help, but to be honest I really wanted to vanish.

    I Might Be Gone Forever

Due to personal issues, I might not ever come back online when I sign off. I might come back on later, but all knows. I'm sorry to do this to all of you, but it's for the best.

    Good news!

I managed to get internet from my big brother giving me his hot spot password. So I can write Higher Senses now~ I decided to make chapter eight into two parts since it's taking long to write all in one. Plus it'll feel less...stuffed.

So the first part should come out soon. I don't know when, but hopefully soon.

Slow Updates · 6:57pm Mar 28th, 2015

I always wondered how to other authors on here to update fast and have this stuff edited. I feel like I'm becoming slower and slower with updates.

What am I doing wrong?

You know, the best, most respected authors are often the ones who didn't write that many books. They wrote a few very good books, instead of a lot of okay books. Yes, there are some people like SSE who can churn out gold every other week, but quality is just as good as quantity any day.

It's probably the same for you as it is for me: priorities. Everyone has stuff in our lives that we must attend to over our writing, no matter how much we may wish otherwise. Everyone else seems to write so much, likely because they have so much already written ahead, or they don't have as many responsibilities as we do.

Probably a good combination of both, though I know for myself, quite a bit of procrastination is involved.

Update when you have the motivation to do so, don't force yourself to do something you don't feel like doing.

Agreed. Quality over quantity.

Doubting yourself.

In my case it's several things. I'm a slow writer to begin with. I'm in my mid-20's, so I'm juggling working with going to school plus other hobbies. However, quality over quantity. I won't publish anything here without going over it and over it until it's as good a quality as I can make it. Yeah it's slower, but it's worth it if it means my readers will get a better experience.

The trick is to write a little bit each day. It doesn't matter it it's 10 words or 1,000 words, and it doesn't matter if it's the best thing you've ever written or the worst. So long as you sit down and write, day by day the words will gradually start to flow more easily...

...Or so I've been told. Hell, I'm ten times worse than you are when it comes to updating things. :rainbowwild:

some people write slow

Do you need some backup? I'd be more than happy to try and help!

Just make sure you end it.

2919211 Easier said than done.

You could do what I have done recently. Finish the story before hitting publish on the chapters one per day. Monster was a bad case of 'Write like hell and publish once a week' that almost killed me, but most of the stories I've done since then have been either done or nearly done when I started the publication parade. (Royal Exam is actually about 3/4 done, but publishing three chapters a week for March is about the pace that seems natural.)

2919389 Sorry to ask this, but how did you find this blog? 0_0

2919388 Don't worry. You have abaut 10 years before the fandom dies out (up to 15 if the next 3 seasons will be properly exe.cuted), so you have plenty of time.

2919396 Good question. It showed up on my feed, even though I'm not following you, but I do have Higher Senses on my "Read Later" list with an upvote and a read chapter. Normally I thought I would have to be following you or have it on Favorites to show up in the feed. (It's still worth it, so I'm going to quick favorite you before Knightly changes whatever it is back)

Georg is watching you

Seriously though, thanks for the watch and I love your work! Its a good thing you haven't read Higher Senses yet it's been through a ton of rewrites. However though I got it on a path I like so it'll start to update faster than before.

I'm going to go with what someone else here said, doubting yourself.

I saw the story at 4 chapters, then 3, then 5, then quickly 4 again, then 2..then 1 as you rewrite, then back to 3, then back to 1..etc etc.

Why don't you figure out the story arc first, then write to fit it and quit changing what you want to do? I know you get better ideas and im NOT saying to quit outright changing ideas..but out of all the fics I have favorited or on my read later list..this one seems to flip flop the most. Ive been waiting for it to stick and new chapters to slowly flow in to follow a story..but its been quite a bit since thats happened.

No matter what, youll have people who will like it, those who will hate it, and youll have trolls..gotta take what criticism is correct and ignore the trolls.
