A Little Detour · 11:03pm Feb 5th, 2015

So I've had this short story concept stuck in my head for a long time now. I've been trying to resist the temptation of writing it, but y'know what? Screw it. I figure it's okay to take a little bit of extra time amidst the updating of three stories at regular intervals and pre-reading for a bunch of different people and my day job which has grown unusually active as of late. I won't say too much about what it's about, but I can say that it will star a particular character I've not worked with in ever. So, just to give you folks a little preview of what's on my mind lately:

Are you supposed to get anything in particular out of this picture? Does it have any bearing on the story I intend to write?

Nah, I'll let you guys think on it for a while. Regardless, I hope to have this little bit of story up within... two weeks? Sounds reasonable. Still gotta pick a two or three pre-readers for it, of course.

That's really all I've got for today. It's been a slow week in terms of MLP stuff for me. Oh, but I'm 84% finished with Background Pony, if anyone happens to care. I'll probably be churning out a review for it next time.
