Gonna rework what I can, and scrap what I can't.
Skills have been gained, old stories left pissing me off will be revamped. I'm starting a new (slightly modified) world of human pony interaction. I'm gonna gut my old stories and see what I can salavage, some will go through full rewrites.

I'm going to have a lot of work, but the frame is there, so it should be done a bit quicker than the others.
I know my opinion doesn't matter here, but I wanted to say that while support your decisions here, I still had to pour a glass of the 18 year scotch and tip one back for Headless. That right there is one of my favorites right now, and it's current state (while imperfect) will be missed. Here's to hoping I fall even more in love with the rewrite. Good luck with your endeavors, and I wish you had a donor account of some kind so I could send you enough to buy you a beer (or whatever your drink of choice is). Thanks for doing what you do!
Hey I think a good idea is to just focus on one story at a time, unless your one of them who think of several diffent things at once, so that way they now that they will have to wait for it but just promise them when you have the others finished you will get to work on the more popular stories. Just finish/rework the more popular stories first and put the rest on haitus or pause or something and focus on one or two. You don't have to its just that, that seems like a good idea to me. I've never had any experience with this kinda stuff because I mostly read and I honestly think I suck at writing.

I know how tough it can be. I lost several stories with work amounting to over seventy chapters and notes containing many hours of work on their own when my laptop ate it's hard drive in November. One of those stories was a fic I was working on for this place with a premise I spent more than a week searching this site for and couldn't find. A completely original FIMfic story premise.
Trying to start over again now and beating my head against the wall, trying to remember all the important details. Might wind up scrapping it in favor of another story idea I had after seeing Rainbow Rocks. 
Be glad you have your notes and a working draft to continue work from. You have a head start on making it work. Head start... Headless... heh... Be happy with that much. Just make sure not to doubt your ideas too much and work that polish you've learned since you first posted those stories. You can make it work.

As long as you post re-written chapters as new, you'll be fine, otherwise it will get hard to keep track of which chapters are re-written.
