Thoughts and prayers for everyone in the Northeast, and also weird nightmares · 11:42pm Jan 26th, 2015

Two points to address in this post. The most important one is:

Keep everyone you know that's in the northeastern US and in the path of this blizzard in your thoughts and prayers. This is a scary mess. Zef, my best friend and the driving force behind the artwork and half of the planning for Persona EG, is in Boston, where they're expecting upwards of two feet of snow over the next 30 hours. If you know someone in Boston, New York, or anywhere else in that vicinity, keep them in your thoughts tonight and tomorrow.

Now that that's out of the way, I have to share something else.

I just woke up from a terrifying nightmare.

I was in a hotel somewhere, and expected to be stuck there the better part of a week. I had been downstairs eating in the hotel restaurant or snack bar or whatever, and went to use the downstairs restroom before returning to my room.

While I was in there, this massive cluster of enormous Mexicans and Chinese comes in, and they look like really evil, scary motherfuckers. I'm thinking I'm about to have trouble, so I finish up and leave even though two of them are standing right in front of me conversing in not-nice-sounding Spanish.

I make it out and head back to my room, but I've realized that the biggest, meanest-looking Chinese dude from the restroom is following me. I hurry to my room as fast as I can, get the door open, close and lock it...

He breaks the door down. I ask him what he wants...

"I want your life."

So I'm terrified, I've got this huge killer Chinese dude bearing down on me...I whip off my jacket, throw it around his neck, somehow manage to wrestle him to the ground, and stand on his neck with one foot, and I'm trying with all my might to strangle him, but it dawns on me, with sickening dread, that this dude is a lot stronger than me, and there's no possible way I'm going to choke him out before he throws me off...

And then I woke up.

That must be a scary nightmare.

i'm from the Boston area as well and it's already snowing like fucking crazy. I'm quite frankly terrified since the governor has called a state of emergency.

That is one hell of a dream.

2749525 Well, you've got hurricane-force winds, storm surge, and an anticipated 30 inches of wet, heavy snow that could break tree limbs and power lines...a state of emergency declaration is prudent. The whole point of that is to let everybody know "This is serious, get what you need for 2-4 days of being stuck home then get off the road."

2749563 i'm not against the decision, i'm just scared that it's that severe.

2749563 Reminds me of the heavy winds and rains that hit CA a while ago. A guy on this site from Canada said thats nothing for them

I know what it means! The hotel is FimFiction, you're in your comment section of your account, the Mexicans and the Chinese are fans and/or trolls, that one big Chinese dude is one troll that wants to make your life a living hell, you try to stop him with comments and reports, but he might be stronger than you unless you block him.

Guys its OK I know this is going to be a scary situation but we are northeasteners we can do this, so bring it winter me and :rainbowdetermined2:got this

Last year, the Atlanta area was hit with a massive snowstorm, and to put it simply, Georgia DOT did NOT know how to deal with that shit. Cars were left on the freeway, and people walked home, it was that bad. It sucked ass, if only because we in the south don't experience heavy snowfall that often. And you're gonna be stuck in even worse snow and gale-force winds. Everyone up north take care, play it safe, stock up on supplies, and stay home if at all possible! If you must go out, please be careful!

I wish you all the best!

Think of the north.

Sounds like you got out before the worst came in the dream. It can always get worse there.:twilightoops:
:yay:< ALWAYS!!!

Sounds like you fell asleep while playing Bioshock Infinite.

Being Canadian, I went through a lot of snowstorms, but this one (especially in New York) would've shut down even out government facilities (which didn't happen since the 80s). So, yeah. I'll keep Zef and anyone there in my thoughts.

And meanwhile, down here in Deer Park, I was sweating all day today.

Weirdest nightmare to appear.

We'll keep the midwest and the upper half of the US in our prayers.
