Continuing on Route 7, I battled some trainers and searched for a number of new Pokemon. I also traded my extra Pikachu for another Ralts, so that I can get both Gardevoir and Gallade later on.
I don't normally mention the nicknames I give Pokemon (when I bother), but special mention has to go to my Croagunk, who—as I've done in the past, in Diamond—I named Gomez, because, well...
After that, it was on to the Battle Chateau, where I hustled some rich idiots out of a shitload of money and got a pretentious title.
Next stop, Ambrette Town!
On the way, I'm given the upgrade to the Coastal Pokedex, and catch a bunch of new Pokemon. Also, some of my Pokemon evolve during a horde battle with four Zangoose and a Seviper.
Speaking of which...
In horde battles, you can't even USE a Pokeball until you've thinned the herd to one.
But when you hit that Zangoose/Seviper horde, ALL THE ZANGOOSE ATTACK AND KILL THE SEVIPER before you can do jack shit.
Once I found out Seviper only appears in horde battles with Zangoose in X, I said 'fuck that' and traded for one over GTS. Not even bothering with that shit.
Then I realized I had to backtrack to Route 3 and Route 4 to pick up a female Combee and Burmy. I wish I'd paid attention to Combee genders the first time I was here; I completely forgot that only the rare female Combee evolves into Vespiquen. (Hey, it's been six years since I played Diamond...)
I decided to offer up my useless male Combee on Wonder Trade...and got an ELECTRIKE!! Hooooooly SHIT good trade.
Caught a female Burmy as soon as I hit Route 3, but I'm STILL looking for a female Combee on Route 4. Once I get one, I'll head back over to the Zubat Roost and proceed from there, picking up the other Pokemon I haven't caught yet on my way to Ambrette.

Out of all those listed there, My favorite is Zangoose.

Nice choice of a honedge. I used to have a honedge... before it evolved to a agislash. It's a freaking attack house!

Also, are you actually going for Pokédex completion? If so, good luck getting the item-trade evolutions like Kingdra... I haven't even done it because I can't trust anyone to do trade-backs...

2655058 As far as I'm concerned, John Astin is the ONLY Gomez. Although I would very much love to see Dan and Swampy do an episode of P&F where Phineas is dressed as Gomez and Isabella is Morticia. If only because Phineas reminds me so much of Gomez it's scary.

Ok Myth, you are coming up to a spot you can get Eevee's from (yellow flowers, remember that.)
they are rare though so be careful not to knock them out.
