"It's been over two weeks, Bookish! Where in the hay is that story?"
Worry not, we're still crazy hard at work!
Every other time I look at this title card I feel like I want to change "secrets" to... anything else. (Maybe some variation on "insight".) I mean, have you ever noticed that so many ponies around here have so many scandalous secrets? Heck, I've done it too! Giving a character "secrets" is a double-edged sword. While the word absolutely has its place as a valid story hook (unlike the word "certain", which should never, ever be used in any blurb or summary as an allusion to an unknown party or object under any circumstances), it can also very easily come off like a cheap ploy to grab readers.
And seriously, sometimes it's like the Ashleys run this joint.
Anyway, the story is done, and we're neck-deep in the editing stage, folks! Editing itself takes a while as we do multiple passes -- as many as it takes before the story is in presentable ship-shape. To say nothing of any other surprises we might have in store. 
We've actually been in edits for a week so far!
But now I can say there's a visible light at the end of the tunnel, albeit still a bit faint. It will, however, be oh-so-rainbowtastic once we finally get there. ROYALLY RAINBOWTASTIC, even.
Wait, no, not that one. I mean I love that one, but...
Awwww, yeah. That's the stuff.

'Insights' seems to be what you're going for there. Maybe 'intuitions' or 'observations'.

Ah yes, the delicate Art of the Summary. I'm glad most people have at least moved on from having conversations with themselves or else assuring us their story was going to suck, at least, though I too am about ready to start a drinking game for every time I see the word "secret" in one of them. l3 And for the record, I'll be Vote #3 in the "make it 'insight' instead" pool.
Anyway! At this point you don't need t'work me over much to get me psyched for your stories, but I'm very happy you do anyway. You make a hell of a pitch here; Rainbows, Romance, and "secrets"? I mean...who could say no t'that?
also a little surprised you were looking for rainbow songs and didn't go for this, but maybe that'd be a bit too cliche? X3

Also, Rainbow Road doesn't fit the "Royalty+Rainbows" motif. Unless you're talking my favorite version of it, I suppose.
