So I just got a phone call a little while ago and found out that my boss is dead. He didn't show up for work and was found dead in his apartment. No one knows what happened. He was a great guy that I really really liked, not much older than I am, with two children that he adored. And just before Christmas... I don't even know how to respond to this news.
I'm going to be taking some time away from this site. Needless to say, the next update of Better than the Best is going to be delayed. Um, yeah I think that's all I want to say. I'll see you all again sometime in the future. Make sure you tell those that are close to you that you love them because you never know when they are going to be gone.

Wow, that's got to be a big blow. It's moments like these that I hope that there's somebody up there.
That's a pretty sour moral, but it's within reason due to your loss. You have my condolence.

I will second that. Never pass up an opportunity to tell (and show!) your family and loved ones that you love them. (Hopefully the first is a complete subset of the other and not the other way around)
