-Got a girlfriend
-Argued with Cheesedork
-Did some hiking
-Did some swimming
-Published a book
-Proposed to my girlfriend
-Argued with Ganelon
-Planned a wedding
-Procrastinated
-Played Smash Bros.
-Did some snowboarding
-Played Smash Bros.
-Got married
-Honeymooned
-Watched ponies with wife
-Wrote a blog post
And there you have it. Everything some things I've done in the past year or so. More or less in that order.
Real life happens. We all get that, right? I've been busy the past few months for various reasons and not much time or brainpower was left for writing ponies. However! Things have recently settled down somewhat, and I'm going to try to get back into the habit. Believe you me, dear reader, I want The Stranger and Her Friend to continue as much as you do (assuming you do indeed want that).
Also, yes, you read that right. TheUrbanMoose got married!
About eight months ago I met the love of my life, a beautiful woman with golden hair and a golden heart. We fell in love, and I proposed to her. Somehow I tricked her into saying yes, and there is now a Mrs. Moose! That's one of the reasons I’ve been so busy recently -- planning a wedding is tough stuff.

I am very, very happy with my life right now, busy as it is. 
"Yes, yes," you say, a little bored reading the details of some guy's life, "that's all very well. When's the next chapter coming out?"
Well, I can't exactly say. In fact, until the next chapter is actually out, I am going to be marking TSaHF as "on hiatus", which is something I should have done a long time ago. The important part is the wedding is over, school has been going for a while, and I'm finally settling into a routine. I am still alive, the story is still alive, and I plan on keeping it that way.
Thanks for sticking with me, dear reader! I can't wait to update more regularly.

Ah yes, that wonderful irony that those who actually do mark their fics as on hiatus are statistically* more likely to resume than those whose hiatus is merely unofficial.
*By which I mean vaguely scientific guesstimates based on a thousand+ stories read over the past 11 months.
