    Update

Alright, I know you've all been waiting for the next chapter of the King of Angels. But to be honest, I've lost a lot of interest in writing it. And the more I look over it the more I feel unsatisfied with it. So I'm going to ask you what you think I should do. I see two options for me.

    The Dazzlings?

Another blog post about The King of Angels! For those who've read the most recent chapters, it's obvious Isaac is headed for the Equestria Girls universe pretty soon. I really want to include the three new villains from Rainbow Rocks, The Dazzlings:

    Potential Rival?

Hey guys, I'm still writing the next chapter of The King of Angels, but I need your help in deciding whether or not I should give Isaac a rival. Another human dropped into Equestria with five random superpowers of his/her own. Someone to counter Isaac's Chaotic Neutral status with Lawful Good, and an ally to the ponies who's just as genre savvy as their opponent is.

you should
you should also give him demonic physiology
you know, cause Isaac has angelic physiology
and it would be extremely ironic

Nah, Issac himself is fun enough,
Instead make a chapter from that summon token, either Issac helping another human or vice versa another human comming to Equestria to help Issac for a chapter.

I don't know, it seems like that would completely derail the current story. I like the whole human vs ponies thing and randomly adding a new human character to be his rival would completely alter the plot.

I'm gonna say no, keep it human vs ponies.

Wait, is this part of your stories or is this in a different story? Also, I made my story, but I can't put it in the LoHAV because he's true neutral but has a good streak. And he's technically wearing a costume, but he didn't gain powers from it.

Gary Mother Fucking Oak

Then Isaac would be forced to summon Red to shut him up...

If you did, make him weaker. Like less powers or something, or maybe even no powers and just make him smarter than Isaac. That way things won't be so even and the ball can stay in Isaac's court

2172920 I hope that would be Red form Pokemon Special, Fucking badass man.

Maybe later. You're fine without one right now.

i say wait for him to have equestria by the balls first then throw the hero in who first is antagonized then joins Isaac then chooses the right path last minute to save the day :trixieshiftright:

2172939

While that Red is indeed badass. I'm talking about uber, silent Red.

. . .

this one?

2173007

Yep. He'll send Gary running home to his big sister.

2173010 Daisy? INSPIRATION! ! ! Get Issac to kidnapp her or something, that would be pretty funny.:pinkiecrazy:

2173034

But seriously though, Rival or no rival?

2173039 Dunno. I could make a story and abandon it, but that won't be fun at all.

Ima gonna agree with Blackie here. Later when it would fit more.

Yes, do it. Fiction needs an intelligent Overlord, and I know precisely who to pick...

Every player of Dwarf Fortress ever. Combined. Because you don't get much more cruel than this.
Also, from TvTropes itself:

Video Game Cruelty Potential: The Game. There are endless examples but for now we'll just leave you with this thread, a debate about how best to traumatize dwarves into becoming resistant to tantrum spirals. The agreed upon solution? Drop puppies on them. From the ceiling. While they're eating. Until they just. Don't. Care anymore.
◦ Let's put it this way: the only limit to the number of different death/torture traps you can build is your capability to make the subject X and the object Y collide at high speed. And then some.
◦ One of the accepted ways to grind wrestling is to choke an enemy unconscious before breaking every single bone in their body with various grabs, throws, breaks and pulls. The end result is usually an unstable biomass vaguely resembling what it used to be, either for Wrestle Dwarves in Fortress or Wrestle Adventurers in Adventure mode.
◦ A way to try and make super soldiers (or any useful Fortress-bred dwarves at all), known simply as "Dwarven Daycare", is to lock a baby in a tiny room with a bunch of dogs. Before soon the dogs will grow aggressive because of overcrowding, and the child will be forced to defend itself. A steady supply of dogs is ensured. This is repeated until the child matures into an adult at age 12. An upgraded approach includes precisely burning the child's subcutaneous fat off its body, making it fireproof.
◦ There's also the Danger Room method of training dwarves in Fortress mode. A room filled with spikes moving in-and-out of walls at dangerous speeds, combined with a bunch of soldier dwarves with little to no armor and shields until they learn how to dodge or block dependably. The mortality rate is usually high, though less so if you use wooden spikes. In that case, the only thing to die are babies carried by mothers, which, sadly, many players consider to be a "feature" and not a design flaw.
◦ "Live training" involves capturing invaders in cage traps, stripping them naked, and carefully releasing them for your fully armed and armored dwarves to butcher. More dangerous creatures like trolls can be dropped into pits and used for target practice by marksdwarves.

I can safely say that all of the above is absolutely true, and a good goal to strive towards for an aspiring Overlord or Villian.

I have to agree with Blackshadow. Later, when your character is more established, will work better.

I think that adding another human will kind of derail the plot of the story so far. Although it would be interesting but I'll have to say no rival

another human in the mix would just overload the storyline, right now anyway

Not now, not yet.

Nah, stick with Isaac for now. IF you add a rival, maybe have it be a "Lucifer" situation where one of Isaac's Asexual Angel children try to overthrow him, fail, and eventually become his "rival"; rallying the ponies against him out of spite?

It's a good idea, but hold on to it. See where your story goes first.

keep issac really OP for now, but bring one in at a later date, when the story is more developed.

I'll have to say I don't want him to have a rival because I've never really liked the protagonist having a rival in most situations but I'd be willing to still read if you chose to make a rival.
