I'm not sure anyone will care that much about this, but I've decided to bump Cubic Zirconia's rating up from Everyone to Teen.
Some of the themes of child abandonment, depression, mental stress, etc, probably deserved it anyways, and there's a scene that'll eventually be happening (though quite a ways off) that I can't really picture without one character swearing enough to affect the rating. There may be mention of gambling, too.
Thought I'd blog about it, just so no one is caught offguard by the change, if it's important for any reason.
Oh, and I'm around 2k into the next chapter at this point...
I thought this was going to be about the 207-0 rating!

Admittedly, that's pretty awesome. Cubic Zirconia did have a downvote at one point. The person who downvoted it got permabanned from the site, and the vote disappeared.

Oh, you know this fanfic. Horrible things always happen. Though Diamond isn't going to be the one who is swearing or being sworn at in the scene in question.

I don't know about anyone else, but I sometimes have full scenes play out in my head, and I was suddenly realising that one scene a fair distance in the future always seem to have at one line being yelled with at least two expletives in it. That was pretty much the tipping point...

I think that makes sense to me. The story can get pretty dark, and have pretty mature themes at times.
And wow! Speaking of ratings. It's really starting to slowly get more of the attention it deserves, one clawing upvote at a time.

Yeah, for a bit, it's seemed like I get a new favorite on it every day or two. I keep wondering if one of these days, I'll upload a new chapter and have it actually be featured...
