    I wrote a thing.

Not pony. An angsty Satoko/Rika fic, from the franchise Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

The fandom overlap here is probably vanishingly small, but maybe someone will be interested.

New Owl House Story: Something to Share

I wrote a new story, as part of a Christmas fic exchange, for my good friend R5h.

Luz shares an important place with Amity; memories both playful and painful.

Amity learns from the past and mends something broken.

It's the best date they've been on yet.

    It can be found here.

Howdy y'all.

Assuming that it's why you're here, thanks for reading my story! These past 57k words or so have been an absolute blast to write, and there's still plenty more to go. Things are about to get crazy in a good way. (I hope.)

However, my pace of writing one chapter a week is unfortunately no longer manageable. My long stint of unemployment has come to an end, and with it, my endless fountain of free time which I mostly filled with video games. (But occasionally writing.)

So it is my regret to inform you that rather than once a week, chapters will now be released once every two weeks. While I could probably maintain the old pace if I really pushed myself (I finished Chapter 11 last night), I'd much rather be able to work freely without nearly as much pressure, and more importantly, give time for my editors to work their magic.

Not to mention, in a mystery story, having a buffer allows for a tighter fine tuning when it comes to foreshadowing and clues. I know where I'm going, and how I'm going to get there, but a lot of the small details can still be fuzzy sometimes.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say this will probably end up somewhere around 120k words or so. Still got a ways to go, but I will keep trucking along until it's finished. That's something I'll guarantee with absolute certainty.

Just to be specific: Chapter 11 - Meta will be posted on Monday, April 21st.

I seriously need to keep up with this story. I'm still on Chapter 5 and i have been following it since nearly the beginning. :derpyderp1: From what i have read though, YOU NEED MORE FRIGGIN RECOGNITION! I wish stories like this could be noticed more instead of stupid clopfics, but at least you have your loyal readers.

Anyways, glad to hear you're getting a job and good luck!

Congrats on the job, bro! (Not that I haven't said it before)

And trust me, Chapter 11 is a doozy! Hope it doesn't throw y'all for too much of a loop, but I encourage you all to take a look at what Fluttershy has already presented you. Twilight might not have been able to solve the mystery yet, but I bet you can! Put on your detective caps, and I'll see you on the 21st!

(Man I should really find a profile pic)
