...of course not. Twilight just happens to be the most logical choice to teach magic to Sweetie, but thanks to those that were reminded of TSC and took the time to send me either PMs saying so or dropping comments!
And yes, the 1 is intentional. I never tire of that gag.
Predictably I really liked the episode! (And the Littlest Pet Shop after seemed cool too, sadly I don't know where to watch the complete eps online. Ah well.)
I was impressed with how Twilight took everything in stride, and how good she is with handling kids, although that little wanker Pipsqueak trying to get it on with Twilight when he already has a FAVORITE PRINCESS makes me doubt his honesty. Just you wait, that will provoke another Nightmare Moon relapse.
So, yeah. Another episode down and a few more to go before we run out of pony for a while again. And what can I say? I think if you're into writing DT & SS vs CMC stories, it's a really good seed for playing around a bit. Remember that fanfiction is basically "What if". So, what could have happened next? How deep can you go with it? (Not to mention Luna hearing about Pipsqueak.)

So yeah, you were on our mind today. I knew you'd bring this up too, and have been patiently waiting all day for you to blog about it =P
Aside that, am I the only one who feels like Claire's voice as Sweetie Belle is changing subtly as she gets older? I mean, it's to be expected since she started this at a fairly young age, but this is the first time I've noticed a significant difference from her S1-3 voice, and I couldn't not notice it. I guess that's the effect of traveling through various dimensions for all those years >;P
...I should hit my hook up for the new episode until I can get them from iTunes...

i liked the episode, but uh, why was Pip so fucking ugly?
I'm not completely sure I like the change in Twilight. It makes sense, but she is increasingly looking more like a support character than a protagonist.

I've figured it out. See, Sweetie Belle was learning magic from Twilight in this episode. Why? Because Rarity isn't good enough. Why isn't she good enough? Because she's too busy trying to get together with random dudes from other cities to spend some quality time with her.
What kind of guys? The wandering, creepy guys that like to put on a face to get the girl they like. Of course, these sorry freaks don't come to Ponyville to get into a long term relationship, they just wanna woo the mare they are trying to get to. What do those mares eventually beg for?
That's right. The D. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Yet, this entire situation could have been averted if Rarity was much more mindful of what kind of dudes she went and tried to get together with. If she was more careful, she'd find someone who was kind to her and didn't try to get her super super drunk at random parties. Instead, they would be kind to her, be loving, and help to teach her moderation.

This is honestly just a myth that people have been perpetuating. I have no idea why this is the case. The color seems to be more similar to what color the pony's cutie mark color is. I could be wrong in this, but it seems somewhat sound (Luna is a tricky one though... hmm...)

And somehow have to team up with them and Di and Silvy's acrobatic mastery and their Super Butler to thwart some malicious entity that is out kidnapping foals to which have some mysterious ties to the Hay Burgers that keep springing up in cities and towns everywhere, (not grimdark, you can take that route if you want though), and discover a scheme that removes ponies cutie marks.
Those foals with Hay Burger Managerial potential are infused with an obedience mind controlling Cutie Mark stamp of a Hay Burger so they are stuck slaving away at minimum wage dead end jobs for the rest of their lives to help manage other sweatshops in newer towns and cities at their pre-packaging warehouses where they will manage all the new victims needed to help spring up MORE Hay Burger joints!
AND it could add extra growth to Sweetie Belle in some way, not that she needs more of it seeing all the shit she's been through, but at least restore some of her innocence I'd imagine. :P

Her magic aura is Twilight and Shining Armor's color, though she doesn't have any magenta on her body. Therefore, the magic aura color can be based off the aura's color in other family members, or it can simply be some random color.
