An Unplanned Hiatus. · 7:03am Dec 16th, 2013
Since posting "A Relaxing Night with Luna", I've had little time to write. I was doing what I could to make ends meet while I was searching for work. Thankfully, I'm not back working again and I enjoy my new shift (2nd), but work has left me busy as well. Hopefully, now that I'm getting back into the swing of working again, I can get back to work on my stories as well.
First off, my inspiration for Rainbow's story seems to have faded. I think it's the major cool down and all the snow on the ground. So I hope you'll bear with me as I follow my muse to where ever it may lead me. I still have more than enough drive for my Luna, Celestia, and Jeanne stories, as well as Twilight's story. In fact I think hers will work nicely now that winter is almost here and "For Whom She Sparkles" current is taking place in winter, so it would fit the bill nicely. But first the long overdue update to Jeanne's story. I have good news, chapter 3 is drafted, I just need to smooth it over in editing. So those of you eagerly awaiting an update won't have too much longer to wait.
I never meant to let my writing fall to the back burning like this, but being out of work didn't leave me the proper free time I thought it would. I just want you to understand why the seemingly endless delays. Depression can play havoc on you, even when you don't feel typical depression or don't even think you are depressed.
Thankfully things are starting to look up again. I still can't thank you all enough for your endless support. The wait will be worth it, and you have my unending thanks for sticking by me through all of this. Take care and till next time, my friends, be well!

Nice to at least have some news on your end in any case. And if I can ask this again, did another user happen to approach you for advice on writing and (hopefully) publishing an original work? Because I did mention you to them, not that I happened to ask you first when I did.

Hey Jaydex it's great to hear from you, I'm glad you found a place to work and have been focusing on yourself. You're not alone with being depressed sometimes; it makes it hard to remember that you're capable of so much.
