Of Parasites made it to EqD! Huzzah (does huzzah! apply when it's your third fic?)! Thanks to everypony that read, commented, or generally enjoyed the story!
Of Steam Gears and Wings Chapter eight is just around the corner, fairly long chapter, and one that will make you love Blueblood and his genocidal ways!
Also, while I'm on the subject of SGW, I need a new editor, one who is good at fixing prose and placing commas...
chapter nine will be just for testing possible candidates!
I haven't even finished chapter ten yet... Cause I'm lazy and don't feel like it. Chapter eleven should be a blast to write, so should twelve and thirteen (The big major climax! Well, the first major climax!).
Of Bounties and Alliances (The Firefly fic) is going along... fine-ish... EqD seemed to like it, but it's not pony enough (Silly fillies!) and the pacing was too fast... Guese having an episodic style story is harder than imagined. I MIGHT ask somepony to co-author, provided they can prove that they write well, and don't mind my crazies...
I recently began coaching people on how to write... not sure how that happened, I'm still not that good myself, at least I'll try to teach them the basics. (Prepare for a flood of stories involving Twilight and broken quills)

Hope you find a good editor, and I don't mind waiting for chapters as long as its still on the list and not on hiatus.
Also; how would I go about using SALT, or finding proofs and editors. I am deathly afraid of sending the wrong message to the wrong person and causing confusion for other people.

I recommend Golden Vision as a reviewer, dunno how he'd feel about editing (I think he'd say "You have spellcheck, use it.") He helped me greatly with Family & Friends, and he gets to fics rather fast (when he's not writing his Whooves family story.) I planned up to thirteen. But the story doesn't end there. I'd say roughly Eighteen chapters. The last few should be rather short, I don't want this story to drag on forever, else I'll lose intrest (Something that's already beginging to happen after two or three tedious chapters) Original plan was to hit the 100K mark then end the story. The story WILL have an ending, just how clear it is... Well, I've built a very large world, and it has quite a few loop-holes that I could write in forever...
I'm editing another long fic, but I'm willing to do two at once. I'm solid on mechanical issues, and I'm teaching myself line editing.

I edited "Watching Paint Dry" entirely on my own. (The aSALT didn't quite happen...) It is the best proof of my current word-craft skills.

Note the repetition of "to." This holds the big list together so that the "and" in "shore up and patch" doesn't throw the reader off. That's the sort of phrasing things I'm working on now: "when" vs "as," compound predicates vs participial phrases, parallel and disjoint phrasing for clarity, and so forth.
"Fear of Falling" is older and most of the good is thanks to Cassius's editing. I can do better work now.

But, i think I only read the first chapter of SGW when it first came out. I'm way behind. 96440 Understandable, I am fairly new to FIMfiction and in writing novella in general (most of my time has been spent writing short stories) but I do work extremely well as an idea man. Check out my blog if you want a better idea of some of the stuff I've come up with.
