I've reached the milestone of 1600 followers.
I am deeply humbled by all those who enjoy my writings. I have written several hundred blog posts and nearly two dozen stories. I still plan to create many more works for your enjoyment. With any luck, I may find myself with more time to write in the near future.
The number of stories I've written is nearly equal with the number of collaborative stories I've worked on. If you haven't read them yet, I highly recommend you check out the Collaborations folder in the Bronystories Fan Club. Also, feel free to join the club if you're inclined to discuss clopfic ideas, my stories or any other disturbing aspects of the fandom.
The latest collaboration I worked on is entitled Cloudy with a Chance of Gremlin Balls, by Stunt Monkey. While the story is a little short, only clocking in at just over 3,000 words, it's still noteworthy for the fact that it's one of the first clopfics based on the MLP comics published by IDW.
Specifically, Cloudy with a Chance of Gremlin Balls draws inspiration from the Rainbow Dash Micro Series comic.
I'm really surprised that the MLP comics aren't discussed or utilized more here on FIMfiction. I'm guessing it may have something to do with the fact that the comics aren't freely available online like episodes of the show. MLP is one of the best-selling comics IDW has ever published.
The price of the comic may keep some people from reading these stories, which is a shame. Honestly, I've enjoyed most of the comics more than the third season of MLP. The comics are well-written and funny. I highly recommend them. An MLP comic can be purchased for less than the price of a value meal at McDonald's. I prefer having a physical copy of the comics, but for those who would rather not travel to a comic store, it's also possible to purchase digital copies online. IDW has Friendship is Magic in addition to the Micro Series for sale digitally. They can also be purchased through iTunes.
I'm not a corporate shill for IDW, but I have no problem promoting a product I greatly enjoy. I want more people reading these comics and gleaning inspiration for new stories. Those who enjoy the MLP comics and are looking for a venue to discuss them are encouraged to join the IDW MLP Comics group.
I want to see more fanfics written about the MLP comics. Maybe have a story where Twilight Sparkle introduces Rainbow Dash to Jade Singer and the three discuss their love of reading and writing stories. (Jade Singer was introduced in the Twilight Sparkle Micro Comic.)
Or what if the Mimicker was really like the alien from John Carpenter's The Thing? 
We could have a sci-fi horror story as the Cutie Mark Crusaders try to stop a killer shapeshifter. (The Mimicker was introduced in the Cutie Mark Crusaders Micro Comic.)
How about a clopfic where Pinkie Pie tries to convince Ponyacci to return to the stage by "priming his party cannon?" (Ponyacci was introduced in the Pinkie Pie Micro Comic.)
This out-of-context panel from the comic is especially humorous when you imagine that Twilight is talking about Ponyacci's penis.
Those are just a few ideas. There are hundreds more. IDW has given bronies another venue to enjoy My Little Pony, with new stories and characters. I encourage everyone to read the comics and glean inspiration for new fanfics.

It's people like you that the companies and corporations should appreciate and hope to have as fans of their stuff.
Nice spotlight, I've heard nothing but good things about the majority of these comics, dunno if I'll ever get around to reading them at this point in time.

You know, I've always wondered why there's so little stuff based on the comics. Sure, there are only 3 of the microseries out (from my knowledge, I don't have access to a lot of comics where I live) but we've seen people on this site work with less than that and created decent stuff. Hell, you wrote one of my favorite clopfics based on a short scene from the Crystal Empire episodes, and the scene wasn't that long either.
Also, congrats on 1600+ followers, god I wish I was in you shoes.

Okay, I'm starting to think there's mind readers in this community, cause I kid you not, when I went out for lunch today I was thinking about that exact thing (no pun intended). Like, thinking about the dog scene from the movie, except with ponies instead of Curt Russel.
Someday, I'll figure out how to buy those things.

The only thing that keeps me for buying the comics, is that there's no where I can buy them where I from, even from iTunes adding that I don't have an iPad (I don't like one any ways).
Fortunately the internet save me, and I downloaded all, saddly, becuase I really want the fisical comics, no matter the price.

That's like making me choose between my children. I love all the collaborations that I've been a part of, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the one-two punch of Iron Will makes a porno and Iron Will vs.The Penile Code.
Out of all the collaborations that I've done, those two stories come the closest in tone to my own writings, while still retaining the signature style of the writer, Gabriel LaVedier.
