Ahem. Good news! First off, that next story is coming very soon. I hope I can get the first chapter up on monday, because I'm going on a school introduction thingie after that. Then I'll be back for a long weekend, and after that I'm starting school again. Yay! And to avoid the same catastrophe as last year, where I didn't upload any major updates for two months, I've decided to take it a little bit easier with this new story: I'm working ahead, and I'm aiming for one update per week. It might turn out to be a little bit slower, but no faster than that. I'm going to start working on the third chapter today. That hiatus left a really sour taste in my mouth and I'm not planning on repeating it.
Kittensitting those kitties worked out pretty well for my writing, as I've already written nearly 8k words for this story. Well, the cats were gone for almost an entire day at one point which badly stressed me out, but they eventually came back. And I really can't fault adorable kitties for anything.
And on a note completely unrelated to that: a new package came in! And do you know what's inside of it? Of course you don't, it's not like you have any cameras in my house, right? Right? RIGHT?!
Anyway, here's a picture:
Yeah, it's a totally awesome changeling plushie! That card down there is my Bronycon entry thingamabob, with M. A. Larson and G. M. Berrow's signatures on it. Which kinda makes this photo the most awesome thing I've ever put on my blog, I think.
I got this plushie from the awesome people over at Cutie Corral, whose shop I ran across at Bronycon. Their plushies are pretty awesome, and cheap too! This one only cost me 75 dollars. Considering the cheapest I can get plushies for over here is a hundred euros (130-ish dollars), that's pretty sweet. Shipping was really good as well!
Now I just need some kind of cloak accessory to go with it. Oh well, in the meantime, I can just do other things with 'em.

Ah, the good old days of kicking ass in ICC25... I was the only rogue in the guild, so I got all the leather gear with agility on it. Also Putricide was really hard on heroic mode. Am I glad I played with sound off.
