This is a rather obscure crossover, with Dot and the Kangaroo, an Australian cartoon from 1977. It has no category on fanfiction.net or archiveofourown.org, and relatively few works on deviantart.org.
Somehow, I had never known about this fic before now. If you haven't read it yet and don't want to be spoiled, don't bother reading the rest of this post.

Yup, that's all I did, translate Twilight's academic article into English. Although, oddly enough, I've started getting requests from ponies to back-translate my version into Equine. The letter from a Miss Sunny Skies in particular was quite eloquent, although a bit heavy in French loan words for my particular taste...
Still deserves more than triple that, IMO.
And that song is pretty good too.

I know you did quite a lot of editting to make wilight's dry academic work more entertaining. And your little editted tale is VERY entertaining while still incredibly educative.
