Hard Reset (almost) hits 2000 likes, and a Time Loop Teaser · 8:24am May 22nd, 2013
Hey folks,
I have a wedding to attend this weekend, so while I'd like to hold off on posting anything until then I'd rather leak something early to commemorate 2000 "Likes" for Hard Reset. Thank you, everypony who clicked on that thumbs up! I figured that the least I could do would be to post some some of preview for You Can Fight Fate even if it's still several weeks away. Right now I'm thinking that

should be the opening line. (subject to change, as is everything else). I've actually planned out the entire story and have several folks who I hope will preread the first several chapters and let me know if I'm writing the most epic story ever or an overambitious cluster buck.
So in that spirit, I thought I might as well disclose my (tentative, preliminary, and any other word that means 'I might change my mind whenever I feel like it') chapter titles too.

Well... if Pinkie Pie is narrating the events of the afterparty because Twilight Sparkle is drunk as a skunk again and can't narrate coherently (or takes over mid-chapter because of this) it could be fun.

Things turn out so badly that Twilight decides to travel into different time line, or she dies and wakes up right after casting the time spell in Hard Reset.

Oh, good. More of Twilight's misadventures, and more Pinkie narration. I needed some bizarity.
That opening line is used in a lot of stories where the protagonist is feeling put-upon. And we all understand completely.

Hard Reset was the story that inspired me to return to FiMFiction. More specifically, you inspired me to finish and rework the fanfiction that I had started before leaving. It even inspired the choice of perspective and voice for
Twilightmy protagonist.I can only hope to measure up the the quality standard that you set forth with my own story.
A Stitch in Time was just as enjoyable, and I can't wait for You Can Fight Fate. Thanks so much for being so awesome!

Now for some random speculation. This story will start in the middle, or maybe near the end, then jump to the beginning. I don't actually have any reason why this would be, but if it's true, I can say I called it.
