How suck/not-suck is this cover art?

Hey folks. Next story is coming along, despite the kinks Season 5 is throwing in its path (Seriously, Babs Seed got her cutie mark? Off screen? For hairdressing? There's no way I could've planned for that). Chapter 1 is close, and I'll post it once I have Chapter 2 ready for editing so there hopefully won't be too long a break between updates.

Table for a guest, plus call for editors

Have you heard about Kitsune Risu's new project? No? Have you heard of Kitsune Risu? You should. He's one of the most underrated authors on this site. Roughly one third of my library of Criminally Underrated Stories were penned by this guy.

    Bitter Harvest mini-prequel of sorts

Some of you already know, but I have been hosting weekly writing prompts over at Thirty Minute Ponies. Each prompt is always posted with a mini-fic alongside it, sort of as an example, but mostly to keep myself writing alongside the participants.

    Contest results, and an apology

This is embarrassingly and inexcusably late, and still half-assed and incomplete, but...

The It's My Birthday and I'll Ship Ponies If I Want To contest is over! Like, more than a month ago! Timing!

I am really sorry about this. You folks who put effort forward to make something nice deserve better than this.

In which Pinkie Pie teases somepony until they cry. · 9:29pm Mar 4th, 2013

Poor Blueblood. Half of the palace is only accessible if you can fly.

It's time for another Priority Rundown!

This time I'll give you guys a color code:
This story or chapter is well on its way, and its release is imminent.
I have a fair start on this story or chapter, and am committed to finishing it.
This story or chapter is on my to-do list.
This story or chapter is one of a handful of projects that I am considering working on once I finish what I am doing now.
Yeah... I probably won't get to this, but y'know, there's always a chance.

Zecora Tries Her Hoof at Clop, Chapter 3: Having managed to write past a major obstacle in this chapter, it's now just a matter of time before I finish this chapter and you all can revel in the glory of more rhyming clop. Also, this story snuck its way past 100 likes some time ago, which is cause for celebration.

The Needle Skips: I am engaging in my first ever collaboration, and it is with the incredibly talented and bafflingly underrated KitsuneRisu. If you've ever enjoyed any of my more serious stuff, you should give his stories a read; dude knows how to build an atmosphere. Needle is going to be the next big thing for me, and it's going to be a whole lot of fun to write. Please don't let the [Dark] tag scare you off, because you'll really be missing out.

A Teatime Visit, Chapter 5: This will likely be the last chapter of Teatime, and I intend to end it with on a strong note. After I put up this chapter, I plan to go back and re-edit, clean up and standardize the formatting, and get it ready to submit to EQD.

And Then Applejack Was a Vampire: Just what it says on the tin. This story idea is the result of me sitting down and thinking about who among the mane six would be the worst at being a vampire.

Twilight and Applejack Steal a Train: A story based entirely off of the pun "Twijacking."

(A so-far untitled sequel to Stubborn as Ponies): I'd have started cracking at this earlier, but the success of SaP has left me unreasonably paranoid that anything I write in continuity with it will retroactively ruin everything that made my darling Apple-Pie gem good. But I need to remind myself that that's silly, and put my war-face on. This one will be Rarilight, because it entertains me in ways I cannot begin to describe.

Afraid of Her Own Shadow: This was a Fluttershy cloneshipping story that I was working on before S3 started. When Too Many Pinkies happened, I kinda gave up on it. But, eh, I dunno. I might pick it back up after I'm done judging for the Love Thyself contest.

(Oh, speaking of, the deadline for that contest is the 15th of this month. If you've got an entry for it, please send me a link!)

Twijacking........... Bwahahahahahah!! You should do this. Just because.

Hmm, sounds like some fun stuff!

889171 Just generally, or does anything specific catch your eye?

I won't have an entry for the contest, I've been too busy. Somehow I think the world will still go around if there isn't a story about futa Fluttershy banging a clone of herself. :fluttershbad:

The train heist sounds fun. :raritystarry:

891336 Everything in blue for sure :pinkiehappy: The Needle Skips is a possible interest.

And Then Applejack Was a Vampire: Just what it says on the tin. This story idea is the result of me sitting down and thinking about who among the mane six would be the worst at being a vampire.

A fic in which Applejack is a vampire.
Just thought I would point it out, since its ironic in a way, given that its one of my favorite fics.
Oh, and Spoiler Alert.

893678 Aha, so there is precedent. I'll have to give that a read.

The Needle Skips is a RariShy, isn't it? I think I remember you saying something about that a while back. If so, I'll probably give it a try. Never read that ship before.

The Twijacking and Applejack vampire ideas are must-reads.

894362 The Needle Skips is every ship, actually. The idea is that it keeps flipping between parallel universes in which the same thing keeps happening to different ponies. So, there's RariShy in it. But if you want a good solid RariShy story, I could recommend Green, by Steel Resolve. That or Jot-Jiggety-Jog's Ribbons and Lace (if a bit of clop won't scare you off of it). Those two are the stories I think of when someone mentions RariShy.

I'm getting a surprisingly positive response to the Twijacking idea, considering the description consists of nothing more than a pun. I may have to bump it up the priority list a bit.

Ah. Okay, well a multiple-universe fic sounds pretty interesting. And thanks for the recommendations; I may look into Green at some point. Probably gonna pass on Ribbons and Lace, though. Never been a fan of clop.
