My good friend Muggonny decided to do something devious in 2024.
Yes, you are reading the title right. Welcome to 2024's contest that will surely make you wonder which way is up. Or down. Wait, are we starting a GTA cheat code here?
Anyway, here's the contest page. We want you to write a story (or stories) about Shining Armor being a terrible father. That's it. Pretty simple, although there are some rules that you need to follow, so please go check the contest page as all the rules are there. There are some cash prizes for this contest, and our super awesome judge panel consists of the following faces below:

Now with that all being said, going to post some history in my involvement with this contest. See, this contest is the long-awaited sequel to Cadance being a terrible mother, which is where this story of mine spawned from. And I was also a judge of that contest, where we received several submissions that made everyone either become a fan of Goth Flurry Heart, or made readers/other writers wonder if they missed out.
This is why this new contest exists. So that way others can now pave the way for new stories about bad parenting in the most harmless of ways.
And before anyone asks, "Hey, Soaring, are you writing a submission for this like last time?"
If you think I'm going to miss out on doing that, you are horribly mistaken. I already have 700 words written. Just know that my story won't be scored, as I'm a judge, and judges' stories won't count. I'm saying this ahead of time so that way no one goes, "Wait does your story count?" I'm just going to link them to this blog instead.
Shoutout to Muggonny for once again hosting the contest and for picking me up as, once again, a judge.
