I write pony words. Millions of them. Some people actually think they might be worth reading. I am very thankful for that. Also, I have a Patreon now?

    So I asked Gemini AI...

To summarize the story TD the Alicorn Princess. The result I got was... interesting.

    1. Fimfiction story: This story involves Peter Westmoore, a responsible college student, who is transported to the magical land of Equis and transformed into an alicorn princess named TD. He faces challenges adapting to his new life and ruling his nation.

    So...

As many of you well know, I'm a father of three. A four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. It's pretty great. Can be difficult, but overall a pretty big blessing. How my wife takes care of three kids five days a week is beyond me, as I have a hard time taking care of them two days a week when my wife goes off to work.

    So yeah...

    Editing help

Yes, I'm calling out for editors again. I want to submit a story to the Cozy Glow contest, and I want to make sure that the story I just wrote for it is good, or "wow, that's a jumbled mess of ideas, far too mean, and the ending is terrible."

Let me know if you'd like to help. Any extra eyes would be highly appreciated.

    I totally forgot

To mark this as a "sequel" to the original story. So, if you're in the mood for more TD/Comet...

Bluey · 8:38pm Jun 15th, 2023

So I'm sure a lot of you have heard about the Aussie preschool show Bluey. It's a show largely aimed at small children that a lot of adults like, too. Even ones without kids. It's... ugh, I can't think of a good parallel for that kind of thing.

:rainbowwild:

So, is it actually that good? I've been watching it with my kids, so I should have a good idea.

It's absolutely fantastic. Bluey's parents are wonderfully written, which is especially impressive for the dad. Dads in shows are usually fat and dumb, something one could trace back to Homer Simpson. He's hilarious, but he set dad characters back 50 years.

Plus, there are episodes aimed for the parents. No 3 year old is going to get an episode about a mother's worry that her toddler isn't developing as fast as other kids.

In any case, my wife and I were watching an episode last night and laughing out loud. It was amazing.

So yeah, great art style, fantastic writing, amazing characters, Aussie charm... it's definitely worth a look.

Cow. Boy. Haaaaaat!

Hmmm from what I heard it’s an excellent show. Not the type of show for me but even I can tell that it has a lot of love and care put into it.

Actually Homer Simpson was based on the dad in the radio sitcom "The Life of Riley:"

(Who was probably based on some character in Vaudeville<-Restoration comedy<-Shakespeare<-Commedia dell'Arte<-the Greeks, probably)

your welcome :P

Based on maybe, but Homer is a cultural phenomenon that had a major impact on TV dads. In not sure we get Peter Griffin without Homer Simpson, for example.

So many jokes for the adults. It has the same thing that made FiM good; anyone can watch it. Bluey is probably the best thing to come out of Aus since Skippy or Steve Irwin. I loved the episode where Chilli was worrying about being a new mum. Best 4th walk break since Pinkie. ‘Don’t worry. You’re doing great’ :fluttercry:

You might find this to be a good watch:

And yes, Bluey is a straight-up amazing show.

We love Bluey in our household. We always highly recommend the show and we are looking forward to the new episodes being released on Disney Plus next month.

Late post, but seen one episode before, and the first impression was confused but nice.
Can't see more due to personal reasons, but it feels like an improved-in-everything version of Peppa Pig, except more pleasant, more realistic and more fantasy(?).
