It’s a real shame if you truly feel like giving up. If you do have a great idea for a story someday I highly encourage you to write it down and if you think it’s good enough post it. When that day comes, give me a PM and I’ll let you know what I think.

Some story ideas are good, some are bad, some are good but you can’t write them how you want them to be. Just keep trying, and perhaps one day you shall succeed.
