The news broke this morning that Rooster Teeth Productions is shutting down.

This company was a huge part of my late teens and early 20s.

Like many, I discovered Rooster Teeth and Red vs Blue through the Making of Halo 2 documentary in November of 2004. I remember finding the DVDs of Seasons 1 and 2 a few weeks later at Gamestop, and taking them over to a friend's house for a watch party with him and his friends. Been watching Rugrats on Netflix today.

Angelica Pickles is the single greatest case for physical violence against toddlers.

Now when I say "new" I mean "new to me".

Because I grew up with local channels only. No Nickelodeon, no Cartoon Network, no Adult Swim.

This has been on Netflix for the past two years, and I was hooked in the first five minutes.

Yes, the theme song has been stuck in my head for hours.

And last but not least, now I have two favorite characters named Cosmo.

Today is a really freaking good day.

After two 24-hour fasts and one 26-hour fast this week, I decided to do my weigh-in a day early.

I'm glad I did.

Six more pounds down, for a total of 23 over the past four weeks.

I'm down to 280.

Celebrated with some chili and added in some of Sauce #4 from the Hot Ones box.

So this week, the Together Tree that trapped Opaline within its roots didn't envelop as much of the castle as we initially thought.

Then a bunch of clubbing Racoonicorns destroy everything.

So, um, is Opaline like dead now? Because now there's nothing left of the castle or tree.

This show is weird.

Season 2 Episode 7 of Tell Your Tale premiered today in a bunch of languages other than English.

So... Whenever we get the English version, I'll make another blog.

Alright, so, the last time I bought tickets for a theater performance was in 2008.

It was easy. Placed my order, got the tickets by mail, took the train to Chicago, walked to the theater, enjoyed the show.

So fast forward to 2024.
