I genuinely love how evil they made that kid. It's hilarious. Cozy Glow has nothing on Angelica Pickles.
I hated that brat as a kid. Now, I respect the writing done for her. Seriously, this girl has her moments of storytelling awesomeness!
Someone's on a Nick kick lately. For my part, I didn't have cable growing up either, and even if I did, I wouldn't have been much of a Nickelodeon kid anyway.
Also, took me a while to realize that the second Cosmo your last post referred to might be the Seedrian.

Yup, Cosmo the Seedrian then Cosmo the Fairy.
Don't know any other Cosmos.
Man, Rugrats sure takes me back. I still remember the VHS my family had of "Runaway Reptar"... gosh I feel old now.

I suppose there's Kramer from Seinfeld, but if we're talking 90's sitcoms, I prefer Friends.

Chandler is my favorite there, so at least another one that starts with C.
...Hey you guys wanna play Doom?

Had to look that line up: Ross brainstorming cons between Rachael and Julie. The line I usually remember is from that 2v2 trivia game. "Actually, it's Miss Chanandler Bong."

I don't quite understand the hate Friends gets online.
I think a great deal of it has to do with the laugh track, but come on, what sitcom didn't have a laugh track in the 90s?
In fact I think the only sitcom I've watched that didn't have one is The Office.

I've seen videos saying that parts of it haven't aged well, like some of Ross' episodes, Joey's philandering, and jokes about gays, masculinity, and Chandler's father. And to be fair, some of the jokes, while still funny, would never make it into a sitcom nowadays.
I think the only sitcom without a studio audience or laugh track that I've seen is Scrubs.

I think the undisputed king of "could never make that today" would be Blazing Saddles.
They also took a jab at "child psychology" with Dr. Lipschitz, and while that is a real name, think about what that name sounds like.

Actually, it’s better than that.
The creators, Klasky and Germain, argued a lot during the production over what direction to take the show, with the latter wanting to add input from child physiologist to make the children more “accurate.” After a nasty spat over Angelica, Germain quit the show and left Klasky in charge. However, the crew didn’t want to stray too far from Germaine’s vision, so naturally Klasky then started fighting with them, which apparently included “using baby talk” to explain how the kids should act.
So Dr. Lipschitz wasn’t just mocking child psychologist, she was also mocking Klasky for believing in them.
Have you met toddlers?
Toddlers are the greatest excuse for violence against toddlers. They're all tiny psychopaths who have mastered the skill of manipulation, and the only reason why we don't cave their foreheads in with a lead pipe is that they will outgrow it.
Who's got two thumbs and probably should not be a parent? *snaps fingers and points both thumbs at my chest* This guy!
I don’t know what they were thinking when making Angelica that evil, but hey, it worked to some extent

I learned a lot about this from Saberspark's "What RUINED Rugrats?" video.

I had to look this scene up today.
Had a pretty good laugh.
