    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

Well, because there was no TYT this week...

Here's an absolutely adorable tutorial on how to hug your pony from doubleWbrothers.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

Well, likely not making it to the Sonic Symphony in Cleveland. · 5:34pm February 18th

Alright, so, the last time I bought tickets for a theater performance was in 2008.

It was easy. Placed my order, got the tickets by mail, took the train to Chicago, walked to the theater, enjoyed the show.

So fast forward to 2024.

The 15% off Valentine's promo code (good until today, 2/18) is not working.

Both parking garages are sold out. I'm not driving around downtown Cleveland to look for parking.

No option to get tickets by mail or even by will-call. Only option is digital delivery to an app that is very poorly rated on the Play Store.

So all in all, no thanks. I won't be remembering Cleveland for an awesome music performance, and will instead continue to fall back to this enlightening video:

Here's to saving money and gas.

Whereas I went to college in Cleveland (great university in a terrible neighborhood) and visited the city again with a friend a few years back. Fun trip, some good craft beer in Ohio City, would go again.

Ah, Cleveland. The city of killer balloons and not being Detroit.

On a side note, we're looking at a weekend where your plans fell through twice (checks Sonic Symphony date. Okay, to be fair, that one's two months away). Why do I get the feeling that this will translate into story updates?

Right now it has translated into more progress on StarCraft: Mass Recall.

And to be completely fair, I'm not that beaten up about it.

This was going to be a $200-ish trip, plus whatever gas cost, and what would really make that worth it to me would be to see the people who performed in the games. Johnny Gioeli, Jun Senoue, Kellin Quinn, etc, and those appearances are neither confirmed or denied in a timely manner. They usually come to only the biggest shows and venues.

I was vindicated when I decided against going to the Chicago show at the last minute when Johnny tweeted that he had to back out at the last moment because of an illness.

So if the Cleveland show winds up being cover artists, I'm sure it'll be a great show but not something that is "must-see" in my book.
