My break away from writing fanfiction has been a good breather if I am going to be honest. I have also uploaded a new story that has been in the works for over a year. It is a mature story and I'm not sure how to do the whole "mature link hidden" doohicky, so if anyone is at all interested AND OF AGE, give it a look in my library of stories.

I’ve been having a good resting period but have been gone too long from writing fan fiction. It has been hard because of work and other fixes; the latter I will discuss in detail.

First, I’ve been collaborating with an artist for a simple web comic project. It doesn’t involve too much dedication but does take time to work with. The artist has been working on some spreadsheets and references before we really start working on actual panels, though she has four so far.

I have been feeling really good as of late; even more alive! I've been managing my mornings well in a consistent order: drink coffee, manage some responsible adult duties, game half to a full hour, write an hour, nap before work, then prepare for work. A nice collection of events that ease my never-ending-thinking brain.

Never did I think I would have to come to the realization that I had lost sight of entertaining myself. I think this is due in part with all the other stories and projects I flooded my mind with, spiraling me into perhaps a mild case of depression (not to make it a massive deal, really). In short, I am convinced I had information overload.

Not the most subtle of titles as I tend to be vague with my blogs to try and coax people to read what I blog about.

And this is something I did not want to write or act upon. There is good news among this: I got my writing groove back. I don’t know where it went but it has returned.

However, it’s by doing other things. The game I’ve been working on has gotten some great progress done and another fic I’ve been concocting has also got some ground covered as well.

If there is one thing that can keep someone down it is yourself. I’m back in the groove in writing, but when I was writing the last and the current one I’m doing, it’s easy to question myself with my style.

What I want to ask is COULD there be more unique exposition? A character’s dialogue is different from exposition, which in my eyes, don’t need as much work as the latter.

Just trying to improve and ask a fellow reader what they think.

So Ferocious/ Josh/ Joshua/ get to the fucking point, what is this secret?

To be straight forward, I am working on a video game.

I won't give much detail as to what the theme or concept is because things are still in very early development. However, the biggest thing I can expose is that I am the lead writer for the game's plotline, world, characters, and MAYBE level designs. And let me tell you, there is quite a lot of things to build.
