I wanted to keep this a bit of a secret, but I'd rather inform you guys anyways · 6:22pm May 11th, 2019

Eyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

So Ferocious/ Josh/ Joshua/ get to the fucking point, what is this secret?

To be straight forward, I am working on a video game.

I won't give much detail as to what the theme or concept is because things are still in very early development. However, the biggest thing I can expose is that I am the lead writer for the game's plotline, world, characters, and MAYBE level designs. And let me tell you, there is quite a lot of things to build.

This last week alone, I've been conceiving the main villain in my head all week. Just last night, I pitched it to my team leader. His response was moderately neutral to put it lightly. There are some things that are good, some not. And that is fine; I know what I signed up for and will expect many ideas to be shot down or adjusted. And, if any ideas are rejected, I can use those ideas for maybe another potential project. Nothing is wasted.

That being said, my mind is not on my fan fiction writing. I REALLY do not want to say that. Most of you would understand and give me the "you do you" comments. I still want to finish what I start here. My readers are always in my heart, knowing they are simply waiting for me to create and publish. And now I guess there is something else to look forward to.

The difference between fan fiction and writing for an original project is obvious. Fan fiction derives from a pre-existing idea with the foundation already in place. Original projects do have inspiration, but a world among with its inhabitants and plot needs to stand on its own foundation and be its own thing.

This is not supposed to be a blog where I cry about how I carry too much on my back, nor will I. It's simply an update on my progress on fan fictions. Do not expect me to fill you in on when a demo will be available or where to find it until my team leader gives the green light. You will know when something will come of it.

If a game is created and published, I hope my skills satisfy the public. If not, at least there was an attempt.

Have a good weekend.

Freak, out!
