I know I've said this time and time again, but I cannot apologize enough for the unannounced hiatus. To put it simply, 2020 was a pretty crazy time; in the world at large, obviously, but also, to some extent, within the fandom itself. And, well, I'm afraid I just couldn't keep up with it all. I feel bad for all those Kaleidoscope writers. I really do. Those people and the stories they put so much time and effort into creating deserve so much better than getting downvote-spammed. Hell, some of my most hated ponyfics of all time have better like-to-dislike ratios than that.

Hey there!

As it so happens, today is my birthday.

And so, in a subversion of the usual tradition, I figured I'd give a gift to you all.

The thing is, when it comes to writing, I tend to be VERY sporadic. I'll have one idea, work on that for a bit, then get a second idea and work on that for a bit, and then I'll want to work on the first idea again, and then I’ll get a THIRD idea, and it just kinda spirals from there.

I swear, I have six different unfinished story blurbs in which Discord plays a major role and now I'm going to spend the entire writing process terrified that the moment I publish them someone's going to shout "RAR RAR DISCORD IS THE DEVIL, DOWNVOTE DOWNVOTE DOWNVOTE."

Well. that's that, I suppose. There've been plenty of ups, and plenty of downs. Where exactly these final three episode lie on that spectrum remains to be truly seen; to say there's some debate would be an understatement. Personally, while it's far from perfect, I think there are far worse notes for a show to go out on.
