The Kinetica Grand Prix is a dangerous, high octane, death defying race where contestants are given "kinetic suits" to make their way through complex racetracks. The four most recent winners, Zinon, Siba, Crank, and Greck, are invited to race on a new track against a very special group of competitors... ponies. They are also given serious incentive: if they win their races, then they'll be given quite the substantial reward...

Princess Celestia, after having received the invitation from the strange company "Kinetica," summons the four best racers in Equestria: Rainbow Dash, Spitfire, Soarin, and Lightning Dust. Each of the ponies are told they will pair up against one of the foreign racers on four courses, each being designed by personnel from both Equestria and Kinetica. She also notes, that these races will be quite dangerous; but there should be nothing to fear from the competition... right?

Prepare your hooves for four races, four courses, and four match-ups that will blow you away in the dust. A one-shot, as well as a MLP/Kinetica crossover.

One day as Twilight takes inventory, she finds a strange scroll. Curious, she opens it, and unleashes a dark and ancient evil, the likes of which Equestria has never known. As the being goes throughout the land, it transforms, becoming more picturesque and dark. Lands become plagued by darkness, many ponies turn to stone, and the Elements of Harmony, as well as Princess Luna and Princess Celestia, simply vanish.

However, there is hope, for from the scroll also appears a strange pair. One is a pony with strange markings along their body, and a flaming mirror on their back. The other is a small bug-like creature who seems to do all the talking and prefers to not be called a bug. Amaterasu is confused at what is happening, but knows that he/she must stop Orochi from taking over these lands, as he tried to take over Nippon. Harnessing the power of new brush techniques, will Amaterasu be able to bring peace and color back to Equestria, or will Orochi consume the land with his dark magic? Or, will another, darker threat take over?

During a snow storm, Fluttershy just happens to find a new bunny, who looks oh so much like Angel Bunny, but has black fur instead of white, and red eyes instead of blue. Fluttershy decides to bring her home, and is delighted to see that Angel Bunny puts up no fuss. But why does Angel Bunny seem so... scared?

As time goes by, Fluttershy starts to call the bunny "Devil Bunny," since she always seems energetic like a little devil. She is much better behaved around Fluttershy than Angel Bunny, and not nearly as pushy, but sometimes her eyes seem a little dark...

Then, things begin to get a bit dangerous.

When a mass gaming craze hits Equestria, everypony rushes to get in on it. Apparently a new company known as C. C. Corp releases a game known simply as "The World". It gets a good reception, and soon is a thriving franchise. But after a while, The World became less peaceful, as more and more ponies began to take to "PK'ing". Though it is somewhat managed by the admins, it leads to a secondary action called "PKK'ing".

Twilight Sparkle, who was immune to the gaming fad longer than most due to her love of books. But when all her friends ask her to join, she can't refuse. As soon as she begins playing, she meets with two others, who will forever change how she plays the game.

Twilight becomes a famous PKK known simply as "The Terror of Friendship," and actively seeks weak players to protect. But when one of her friends falls into a coma, she turns all her attention to seeking out the perpetrator, a PK who apparently goes by "Tri-Edge". But after finding and taking on the player Twilight assumes is Tri-Edge, she is beaten, and returned to a level 1 player. What happened during Twilight's battle? Who is this mysterious player? Why are more and more ponies falling into comas?
