Songs · 3:54pm Sep 16th, 2016

I am writing yet another song parody for The Roses of Success.
Yeah, this isn't anything all that new. I've been writing lyrics for my stories almost as long as I've been writing. I've never had the drive, skill, or social skills to make audio recordings of them.
This song is basically a duet between one male and one female character, with the chorus serving as a mouthpeice for a dead person, and I don't have anywhere near the recognition required to be taken seriously by real singers.

I've Had An Idea · 9:24pm Sep 8th, 2016

My partner and I have gone our separate ways. I wasn't upset by this. We'd both had time to reconcile our lack of romantic attraction during the summer months, and I'm very glad that she and I were honest with one another. She and I are still friends, and we both emerged from our year long relationship with things to thank the other for.

What've I been doing? · 5:54pm Sep 4th, 2016

So, we all know that I can't survive a full week without touching my keyboard. So, why haven't I published anything new this week?
Well, aside from school, I've only written about two thousand words in the last two days, and nothing else during the week.
"What were those words a part of?" you may reasonably ask.

Downtime · 3:12pm Sep 1st, 2016

I've spent my free period going through Let's Try This Again and The Roses of Success, just to click the down arrow and the enter key a few hundred times. Double-spaced text is so much less touble to look at. I'm also gonna do this to Changelings: A Summary, when I have the time.
EDIT: Done with that too.

Pythagorean Mentality · 4:18pm Aug 27th, 2016

Ask anyone I know personally, and they'll tell you that I like mathematics, simplicity, and ease of access to information.
Never is this more true than when I find a number in my life that has significance to me, and an easily noticed mathematical quirk to it.
I like finding simple ratios in the ratings of my stories, pulling apart the systems by which stories are ranked, and I sigh with the mental ease of finding a perfect square number somewhere of value.

An Open Thank You To FriendlyTwo3 · 4:24am Aug 23rd, 2016

A while ago, I put up an open request for cover art featuring a changeling anatomy reference chart, as I had never found one that fit with my intents and purposes.
A guy known as FriendlyTwo3, and he took to the project like I had never expected to see. And the weirdest part to me, was that, not only didn't he ask for any money, but he said that he was doing it because he liked the idea behind my story.

Changeling Prisoner Drinking Song Scene · 6:10pm Aug 19th, 2016

I just watched this, and can't stop listening to it.
I was wondering if anyone would like to see a drinking song in my story. The prisoners will sing it, because most of the changelings in my fanon don't ingest any physical materials. But I might write one just for the heck of it.
Would you like to see a different kind of halfling singing?

The Changeling Research Group · 6:08pm Aug 16th, 2016

As of today, I am the founder of The Changeling Research Group.
"What is that?" you might reasonably ask.
The Changeling Research Group is a group —no surprises there— of people who love changelings, science, or any combination of the two. It's a group dedicated to the science and love of changelings.

Amendments to a Certain Story · 11:18pm Aug 14th, 2016

I've decided that, as I continue to modify and flesh out the world in which Fangheart lives, and the society of which he is a product, the summarization of its components should be changed as well.
Stand by for the first amendment to Changelings: A Summary, featuring the written language of changelings, and the songs of history. I'll probably follow it up with the arts, and education, and then the use of a duodecimal counting system, and... forgive me, and also humor my enthusiasm.

On being a teenage author · 11:35pm Aug 9th, 2016

Now that my ragegasm/tantrum has passed, I'd like to consider the notion that being a teenager is somehow worse than being a fully grown adult.
I don't think it's always true, although I am only half informed on that front, being fifteen and all.
