The Allspark has been found in Equestria, making all sapient creature ageless and all ponies have become alicorns. The Allspark also made Twilight's son Nova Spark and four others into cybertronian hybrids. Now with Optimus guiding them, Nova Spark and his Maximal friends must protect Equestria from the Decepticons.

Two months after the events of Equestria Girls the monsters locked behind the gates of Tartarus find a way into the human world. With the gateway to Equestria locked for another twenty eight moons the only way to help is for Celestia to create reflections of the Elements of Harmony and have Sunset Shimmer give them to her new friends and the recently transferred native Twilight Sparkle. With these elements Twilight and her new friends become the magical Equestria Girls!
