Okay guys, short a sweet blog post as it's late at night and I shouldn't be up but I am.
Welcome to Chapter 13, everybody! These chapters have been getting noticeably longer since I started using text-to-speech when checking for mistakes, and I am not sure why. I wonder if I go back and start reviewing the previous chapters if they'd get longer as well after a few passes. Probably not 1-5 since those drafts were sitting in my folder for ages, back when I was gonna write the whole book and then release it one drip at a time. Chapter 12 is live and boy howdy is it a long one! I broke my goal of keeping it around 5K. I know I could've cut the chapter early after the first line break, but I didn't have the heart to leave on a cliffhanger after last time. For those of you who like longer chapters, I hope this makes up for nothing last week! For those of you who don't like more horsewords per week, my sanity thanks you, but also you're reading an evolving long-fic. I question your judgement.

No, Chapter 12 is not out yet. I was editing it on my phone and I fat-fingered while scrolling and hit the Publish button. It is DEFINITELY not ready yet as I am knee deep in editing it and using the site's TTS to help. Currently trying to get the notification on the front page removed as well. Sorry for the confusion!

Sorry! No chapter this week. Life has been busy on top of Chapter 11 being a battle to write without falling into a plothole. There were soooo many opportunities with all the characters present to mess something up royally. I had to be sure I got it right in the writing.
