What if Nightmare Moon wasn't defeated and had succeeded in defeating her sister by banishing her to the sun? Nightmare is now left with an entire country to rule and the only one to help her is gone. Can Nightmare take care of her subjects or will they last long enough for help to come?

It was thought Luna wasn't present for the Canterlot Wedding. But the opposite was true. She was there for the whole thing. Oh now, she wasn't watching from the sidelines like all the subjects that worshiped her precious sister. She caused it.

Luna has been sent to the moon. While there, however, a song reaches her through the dark. A lullabye from her sister. Despite Nightmare trying to convince her otherwise, Luna replies with the same sad melody. These are their songs of apologies.

Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie are severely injured. Rainbow is waiting in the hospital for any news about their health. When she doesn't agree with what the doctors are planning to do, she goes in search of a way to save them. But how far will she go to protect them?
