That's right, I live! And before anyone goes and jumps me for being late, let me just give you a blast from the past via my very first set of reviews:
I've decided to begin writing a review blog, which I will manage once a week every Monday or Tuesday.

Yay, lucky number 13! No, really, I'm one of those silly people who actually grins when he knows he's approaching, say, Friday the 13th. I'm not exactly supersitious, but it does amuse me.
Howdy folks. Ready for some horse words reviewing more horse words? We got some good stories coming this week, and one in particular is shamefully underrated. No, seriously, this is a story that needs more attention. I put it in my favorites for a reason, people.
So many story ideas, so little energy.
As much as I love visiting my parents and extended family, sometimes it can be so frustrating. I just blew three straight days that could have been devoted to writing, reading and job hunting. I'm abruptly way behind in my writing and my reading for reviews (the former of which I may have to push back by a couple weeks) and I'll be scrambling to catch up.

Ah, who am I kidding? It's worth it.

As Luna demonstrates, sometimes I am my own worst enemybest gaming buddy.
As many of you are aware, I used to only read stories when I was having a break at work. Now that I'm unemployed, I've had to make some changes. Don't worry none, I'm still reading, I'm simply more organized about it. Anywho, I've not much to say this week, so: to the reviews.

Or so I prefer to think. As of right now I am officially unemployed. Turns out the big wigs where I work have concluded that proper documentation isn't worth the money invested, so they've kicked me to the curb to save the office funding in the short term. Oh well, I've got money saved up, I can last a little while whilst I look for new work. In the meantime, more horse words!

Ten weeks of reviews have now come and gone, which leads me to wonder: what do people think of my reviews? I tend not to get much feedback, so I want to know if people are even paying attention. I won't stop even if you all say no, though; I'm writing these as much for my benefit as anyone else's. I'd just like to know if there's anything I can do to improve this little section of my miniscule domain.
Onward! Good stuff coming this week.

Just today I finished reading a crossover story (which, curiously, has not been tagged as such). After finishing it, I came away with mixed feelings about the story. I didn't know the source material at all, but after finishing the story I decided to study said source material. I discovered, to my chagrin, that the author had ripped 80% of his plot directly from the source material, changing things up only by making the Mane 6 the central characters. Two problems here:
