I'm all set up and ready to move, and work starts on Monday. I imagine I'm going to be pretty busy between tomorrow and then, and of course when I start working I'll slow down on a more permanent basis. With this in mind, and having the rest of my day free, I'm working hard to hammer out one more chapter of Trixie vs. Equestria for tonight!

That way I could write more! I spent so much time on the phone with people and filling out paperwork and trying to understand legalese I hardly had time to write.

Fortunately I was finally able to get back to it and post a chapter of Trixie vs. Equestria today. That makes me feel much more accomplished. Unfortunately I now have to plan my move to Houston and whatnot, so I'm not likely to speed up.

So the past few days have been spent in hectic-land trying to get ready for a major job interview. This has dramatically slowed down my writing, of course, which is why my tiny chapter of TvE took so long to show up. Good news: I can now focus on writing again. Better news: I'm pretty sure I aced the interview. Bad news: if I did, and they make me an offer, my writing's gonna slow down on a more permanent basis.

I hate satellite internet. Really, I do. For the past three days my service has been cutting on and off like crazy. Sometimes it's weather, sometimes I use up all of my pathetically small bandwidth.
