It took fives months of eager devotion, but Trixie Vs. Equestria is finally finished! I am very pleased with the final result, and have already begun an exhaustive editing process. The next time I submit this story to EQD, I want it to shine like one of Rarity's diamonds. It's been a long and pleasing literary journey, marred only by the knowledge that it just doesn't have the attention I feel it deserves.

My cousin had a baby today. That's the first of the next generation, and my mind is effectively blown.

In unrelated news, look for a little wait before any updates come up. I'm currently writing on a contest project that is taking up a lot of attention and time, but I'm hoping will be well worth it. I am especially sorry to my TvE readers, who I know are eager to see the last four chapters come out as soon as possible. I assure you, I'll get back to it as soon as this is over.

Every weekend, about when I ready to write another blog, things suddenly get all busy and I forget. Well this weekend is different, 'cause I'm finally moved in to my own place! Le w00t. I haven't been able to write on anything - at all - in the past several days, which is highly annoying, but hopefully now things will calm down a bit and I can get on track once more. Hopefully this won't lead to too big a delay in my updates.

So I had a busy week, doing Halloween-themed stuff, visiting family (not done with that one), work. And now I'm looking for an apartment, which is taking up a good bit of my time. It makes me sad: not a lot of writing was done. At all. I'll still get on some - if the net decides to be agreeable - but it's almost certain that I won't get anywhere near as much writing done as I'd like. Bad stuff first.

So I was busy writing my entry for the October contest of Random Romance. Things are going wonderfully, I'm more than 3/4 finished... and then shit happens. I stop writing for one day to entertain guests, and when I open up the file the day after what do I find? The gods have wiped away over 5k words from my story. It's just gone. No reason, no errors, nothing.

At long last, my four-part story No Heroes is complete! It took six months, and I'll be the first to acknowledge that it isn't perfect, but I had a ton of fun writing it. In the end it came out to around 337k words, which makes it the second longest story I've ever written.
