Bad stuff first.
So I was busy writing my entry for the October contest of Random Romance. Things are going wonderfully, I'm more than 3/4 finished... and then shit happens. I stop writing for one day to entertain guests, and when I open up the file the day after what do I find? The gods have wiped away over 5k words from my story. It's just gone. No reason, no errors, nothing.
I wouldn't mind so much if it were one of my regular short stories, where I just write what comes to mind. But in this case I had carefully planned things out ahead of time, arranging the scenes and determining the talking points, so on and so forth. It was a ton of work to get as far as I had, and now a third of my story's just gone.
I am thoroughly disgusted. I'm taking a break from the short story (I'd been working on it all week) and focusing on the next chapter of TvE. Once that's done I'll come back to it.
Now then, the good news: new car. In a way it's bad news, because I wanted to wait 6 months to a year before getting one, but as those of you who keep up know, that plan got trashed when my old car died on me. It was about time, really; 14 years is a long time to run. So yeah, yesterday I got my first new car, and I am 100% happy with my purchase. Why?
It is a Mini Countryman, and it is black.
I want a vanity plate. Specifically, a Luna-themed vanity plate.

You don't see me on Skype because I'm a total introvert who is horrible at keeping up with that kind of thing. Which, I'll acknowledge, sucks. Hobbes - oh, I'm sorry, Kid - used to haggle me all the time to get online, but I think he finally figured out that I'm just one of 'those people' with terrible relationship skills.
Generally speaking, I've knocked down my Skype time to about once a week, mostly because Skype distracts me from writing. And I probably won't be on at all this weekend, 'cause I'm heading home where the internet is craptastic.
I wanted the All4, but budget sacrifices had to be made. If I'd bought the car 6 months to a year from now, like I'd planned, then I probably could have waited for a custom job with everything I wanted, but I was in a state of emergency and had to pick from something in the area. My cousin - who happened to be my ride to and from work - left town yesterday on a business trip and won't be back for two weeks, so I had to get a car fast.
So yeah, sacrifices.
But that's okay, I still love my car.

I keep trying to come up with something relating to the New Lunar Republic, but unless I go with NLR it's pretty damn hard to fit in there. I could go with something as simple as "FOR-LUNA", but I wanted options.

Unfortunately, all I can get for New Lunar Republic shortened to (besides NLR) is LNR-RBLC or LNR-RPLC. Can't fit RPBLC, which would be great if you could have 8 letters, but it isn't done.
MAR N M8N for Mare in the Moon (I know it would read like Mating, so you could do MON, but 8 give two "o"s or just do MAR MOON)

Those are all great suggestions, so thanks! Although I'm something of a former gamer, I was never one for the Gamer Luna concept. I do like the NMR-MOON one, though. I kinda like NMR-WOON, but the car's a little too big for that. I got the largest MINI model there is, so I think referencing Luna would be better.
I'm way overthinking this.
Anyway, as of now I'm stuck between NMR-MOON and FOR-LUNA. More suggestions always welcome!
