So yeah, it's 2022. WHich feels like 2021. Which isn't the best place to be. Though honestly I continue to be stupidly lucky in that things are going well-ish on my end, if a bit ... quiet. As sadly there's not much opportunity to go out and Do Things or Go Places, for any number of reasons. And while having a Real People Job(tm) is nice, it puts me on an actual ... schedule, as opposed to my aimless meanderings back during the summer of 2020.

So yeah. The holidays approach with the sure inevitability of a festive-themed glacier. Or something. The good news is, I've gotten just about all the big stuff tended to. Gifts have been acquired and wrapped (for the most part), and plans for the holiday weekend are in place. Even got a booster shot yesterday, which, roughly 24 hours later, has me feeling a bit achey, but it's certainly better than the alternative.
