    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

It occurs to me I haven't posted in over a month. Oops.

Which is funny, as I poke around this website on a semi-regular basis, mostly 'cause I get a little dopamine flush when I see someone say something nice about one of my stupid stories. (Sidenote: go leave some comments on my stupid stories).

This said, I'm doing fairly well in the grand scheme of things. Had the day off, so I did some adulting: did taxes, made soup, and so on. I kind of had vague plans to Go Places and Do Things on Saturday night, buuut that didn't quite work out on account of me being boring. I also just finished the storyline on Horizon: Forbidden West, and I just finished reading Django Wexler's The Thousand Names, so now I'm kind of at a "what next?" stage in silly entertainments. For those occasions when I actually have the brainpower for silly entertainments, at least? Though that reminds me, I should probably finish P5 at some point, since I'm pretty much on the last dungeon.

Oh, and I've been watching Demon Slayer on Netflix, mostly to justify me having Netflix (at least 'til the next bunch of Stone Ocean eps drop). And I'm of ... mixed opinion. Like, it's not BAD? But it's still very ... shonen-y. Also in the first episode Nezuko hits the buttons for like five different weirdo internet fetishes so I guess that explains why it's so popular.

Still! I at least have some vague plans to Do Things in the next few weeks. Like, the local library will be doing some cool stuff. Aaaaand I've been eyeballing a couple of Kickstarters. Like, I'm probably not going in on the new Sentinels of the Universe kickstarter, since I barely have enough opportunity to play the first edition game ... but at the same time I really just want to see if they're gonna make a completely new deck for Alpha the Wolfwoman. (That previous sentence likely will not make sense to anyone but PresentPerfect). Though I probably -will- get in on Reaper's upcoming Bones 6 Kickstarter (Starts March 31st!) because I've slowly been painting minis over quarantine which only feeds the desire to get MORE minis, and ... yeah. Someday I may actually run an in-person D&D game to use some of this stuff, I swear.

Other than that, not too much else to weigh in on. Haven't been writing, pony or otherwise, which is something I keep beating myself up over. Which leads to a kind of vicious cycle in which I get bummed out that I haven't been productive which makes it harder to boot up the word processor, and ... yeah. Maybe I should just go and write some stupid clopfic shipfic just for something goofy and easy to get the ball rolling again? Just, uh-- later. I'm probably gonna get to sleep pretty soon as is.

Still, I exist, and have plans to continue doing so for awhile. Isn't that neat?

Seven girls and a minivan is still one of my all time favorite stories. Close second ,Cabin Fervor.

I've been picking:

Anime to watch on Netflix based almost entirely on the length and peculiarity of their titles. I'm currently quite enjoying a series called "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai."

It sounds pretty neat to me! :)

Very neat.

Thanks for checking in. And, you know, there are silly entertainments to be had here if you're in the mood for those sorts of things. Cough cough. :raritywink:
