While Twilight casts her spell to change Flutterbat back into a pony, she is affected by Fluttershys stare. This changes her view of who has to be "healed".

Three creature appear out of thin air in the park of Ponyville, causing a magical cataclysm that changes the race or even the species of everypony. In the process two of the creatures turn into statues. The last one, a riding horse named Confidant becomes a unicorn. Being separated from his rider he's scared and tries to find a new place for himself.

Twilight and her friends on the other hoof try to understand what exactly has happened and more importantly find out how to reverse it.
