"well what Apple Lauda is doing... I mean he became like that... he always has been an aggresive driver but with Senna, this has sharpened" Lewis explains.

"I'm going to teach him a lesson... just you wait Apple Lauda..." Fluttershy growls.

in the meantime in the Rothmans garage, Apple Lauda, Ayrton Senna and Silverstream have a talk about Apple Lauda's mental health.

"I know you want Ayrton to get his revenge for 1994, but you don't have to do this..." Silverstream says. "Spa is aside from the Nordschleife your strongest track... I know you are going to win this one..."

Apple Lauda instantly contradicts. "this is Ayrton's circuit... it's his favourite one... I want him to win here"

"sweetie, please... you were designed to win... just like Ayrton" Silverstream says in a comforting tone.

"leave this to me Silverstream... I know what I am going to do" Ayrton says whilst Apple Lauda is lost in his thoughts.

in the Qualifying, Ayrton Senna took pole position, Fluttershy in P2, Apple Lauda in P3, Rainbow Dash in P4, Fernando Alonso in P5, Spitfire in P6, Lando Norris in P7, Carlos Sainz in P8, Oscar Piastri in P9 and Alexander Albon in P10.

A few minutes later, the 19 lap race starts. Ayrton and Fluttershy get away very well but Apple Lauda sees an open gap and goes for it. Apple Lauda takes the lead of the race.

"holy shit" Ayrton says. "he really is like me in terms of overtaking..."

"oh for fuck sake..." Fluttershy sighs.

"sweet Celestia!!!" Rainbow Dash yells. "Apple Lauda is an absolute kamikaze driver..."

"that was close" Spitfire says. "if Apple Lauda keeps doing that, sooner or later, he will crash..."

and Spitfire was right... in lap 7 of 19, Apple Lauda goes for an gap to try to overtake Fluttershy but the overtake fails and Apple Lauda damages his front wing very badly, forcing him to pit for a new front wing.

"this is what happens if you divebomb all the time" Fluttershy says.

"I know Apple Lauda is a driver like Ayrton... but he is seeking success... maybe it has something to do with his past..." Toto says.

"his past?" Fluttershy asks curiously.

"you know... Apple Lauda once told me that he can't be happy..." Toto answers.

"why? he has a girlfriend, he is competetive, he is successful..." Fluttershy says.

"but back then... he wasn't successful, got rejected all the time. He got basically sick of this world..." Toto says. "he even tried to end his life twice"

"oh my gosh..." said a shocked Fluttershy. "why didn't he seek professional help?"

"because he believed that no one would listen... so he isolated himself for like what? 2.5 years?" Toto says.

"I'm gonna talk with him after the race..." Fluttershy says.

"I'M A FUCKING IDIOT!!!" Apple Lauda yells. "TOO STUPID TO GO FOR GAPS!!!!"

"don't be so harsh on yourself sweetie... " Silverstream says. "even Ayrton screwed up overtakes sometimes"

"CAN'T I FINISH ON P2 BEHIND AYRTON OR WHAT!?" Apple Lauda still yells. "OH FOR FUCK SAKE!!!"

after everyone pitted, the race lasted 11 more laps. Spitfire got an move on Fernando Alonso who was in P3 and is now 4th. Apple Lauda is in P5, in the final lap and catches Alonso just before the line. Ayrton Senna and Fluttershy cross the line at the exact same time and Rainbow Dash finishes 6th.

"Well, I guess I share my victory with Fluttershy then... it doesn't matter anyways so... I'm fine with that" Ayrton says.

Damn, Fluttershy and Senna across the line at the same time. I would have loved to see that.

But yeah, dive-bombing like that will get you nowhere. I told you in person, and now your OC has seen it too. 😊
