When your only means of communicating are through letters across the world through two major wars, long-distance relationships are tough. Especially when it's for ten years. But as the fire consumes the world, they also are the only way to go on.

Shame Paige didn’t get the credit, Fancy seemed like he would have understood.
Another fine chapter you have here. I liked the introduction of the changeling Red Baron, he seems nice. Nice to see our White Castle group has managed to squeak on by another close call. A shame about Paige not getting credit for her life's work but hey, they got out alive (most of them at least). I'm also personally glad fancy pants made it, I think he's pretty cool. About time the changelings got that major punch back, hopefully this'll give Equestria some more breathing room. I eagerly await the next chapter, keep up the great work.
great chapter my friend keep it up can't wait for the next chapter
well..that was eyes glued to the page. make no mistake
rip the crystal. but might be for the best considering what static discovered about it (it being a potential bomb)
and i like the honorable changeling. its nice to see honor among enemies. that wing wiggle. a reference to German ace Franz Stigler?
Wait so Sweet Static is a Changeling? If she is then I hope she will be safe from S.M.I.L.E, I like Static, and i also like Changelings.
This early war report is important because it gives us a look at how Mantis expected things to go, not only does it show that he warned about the hegemony deficiency of heavy bombers, but it also gave us a basis for how both air forces were at the start of the war and how things must have escalated afterwards (at this point the RAF must be equal to Luftwaffe in terms of aircraft in service)
