Will comment more detailed comment later, but for now here's some ideas.
Canny is rightfully confused about why the Zebra keeps rhyming and is the only one to keep harping on it because no real answer is given.
Zecora has some bandages and such, but for some of the other injuries, especially Fluttershy's, she places her hooves on her and breathes very deeply and what looks like yellow electricity exits her hooves and starts to close up the wound.
You learn that most of the deer raiders are peons with no real power, but that they have strength in numbers and Zecora has had to ward them off with her Voodoo and Hamon. Also they haven't just stolen from equines, but Griffons, Diamond Dogs, and rather boldly, a green dragon. The gold and jewels is one thing, but they also have tried to steal ingredients, tools, and materials and Zecora theorizes they might be trying to make something dangerous.
Powerwolf attempts to chew on Zecora's cauldron, but Fluttershy stops him.
Star wonders whether it'd be prudent to speak to the Deer kingdom about these ruffians, but Lupina says they are far away and secretive, and Ziggy mentions that the one he's looking for wouldn't be caught dead in a society of nature freaks as it's not his style. Lupina gets a bit offended at the nature freak comment and bares her teeth at the Diamond Dog.
A bit of a quirk Lupina has: Everytime she would address one of the Mane 6 or one of the Royal Sisters, she'd use the terms "Bearer of [Specific Element]" and "Former Bearer" respectively. It would be her way of showing respect to them, given her origin. The only time she would use their names was if things were seriously bad or about to be seriously bad.
Do you think that you could make a Discord Server for this fic?

Eh, I dunno that the fic's big enough or there's enough to discuss, at least at the moment.
As you all walk towards the zebra shaman's location, Lupina starts to regal you all to the wonders of the Everfree and some history of the forest itself along with the crystal tree. While Star himself is pretty interested in what she says, the others are less enthused about the Timberwolf's ramblings. Eventually Ziggy decides to sum up what Lupina said in a less then polite way, which leads the two to butt heads.
Canny tries to separate the two, and Star wisely decides to stay out of it.
As the two bicker Star falls back to Fluttershy and tries to comfort the poor mare. It's obvious her first Stand battle had a bigger effect on her then the other's, so Star tries to make her feel better. He even praises her for how well she handled herself during the fight, and tells her how proud he is of her. This, of course, confuses Fluttershy given her lack of self-esteem but she still feels a swell of pride from Star's constant praising. And maybe feels something else, but who knows what goes on in the mind of a mare?
After they get treated by Zecora, Fluttershy brings up that it might be a good idea to report to Twilight what happened before going for the deer village. Star is hesitant to do so, however, as the idea of giving the personal student of a princess who as time goes on appears to have more and more secrets then gold in the royal treasury doesn't sit well with him.
Instead, after a group vote, its decided to investigate the deer village first and handle Ziggy's baggage first before things can escalate or get out of their control. Better to deal with a problem now before it gets worse after all. Maybe Zecora even offers to come with them?
Also, I feel like Star should offer Lupina a chance to meet with Mare Mayor now that he knows the forest has a guardian. While ponies avoid the forest on a regular basis as is, it would be better for everypony involved if all parties knew about each other. Plus they could reach some sort of agreement to let pony traders travel safely through the forest in exchange for keeping the forest healthy or something like that?
…………………………………………………………………….
I have yet to see the series finale myself thanks to college and other projects that I'm focusing on. I have high hopes that it goes out on a high note that wraps everything up nicely and leaves all those involved (characters and the audience) happy about the end.

Lupina would decline an offer like the one you suggest, and say that such an agreement would be doomed before it began. She'd then go on to explain that while she is the Tree of Harmony's chosen protector, she has no authority to act as its "voice", much less the "voice of the forest". She'd say that aside from her, the wildlife native to the forest are very much aggressive towards intruders. But she would also tell Star that she does wish to meet the rest of the Bearers, and the Royal Princesses, for reasons that she will not share.
