"Can I make a serious confession? I knew the candle had been in Undertale for a while, but I seriously doubt it would still be there. But I can’t tell my friends that because, well, we’re kinda in the middle of a problem here."

"So you chose your home on a lark?"

"What? Can you really blame me? We went to Hyrule and Daphnes got way tougher. My turn!"

"You had your turn when you first became a Lord. Nevertheless, I do think Undertale would be a good place to start looking."

Thanks for validating. I knew you’d see it the way I do."

“hey bro, mind if I tell ya somethin’,” Sans asked his brother.

“UGHHH, WHAT NOW SANS?! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING?” Papyrus asked.

“oh, really? whatcha doin',” Sans asked.

“WELL SINCE YOU ASKED, I’M TRYING TO ACCESS THIS WEBSITE I’VE BEEN ON HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF TIMES,” Papyrus said. “BUT THE COMPUTER IS BEING RIDICULOUSLY SLOW!”

“maybe it’s having no-stall-gia!” Sans said. Toriel then laughed so hard she almost dropped the butterscotch-cinnamon pie she was pulling out of the oven, but she recovered just in time.

“Now that you’re FINALLY done, can I make some pasta?” Undyne said.

“I do not see why not,” Toriel said.

“everybody behind cover!” Sans yelled taking Frisk with him behind the couch. Toriel was encouraging but out of the immediate range. Papyrus went into the kitchen to “help”.

“NGAHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Undyne screamed, mashing various vegetables with spears, creating a massive mess. Sans pulled Frisk’s head down and kept them safe from the carnage. Papyrus helped Undyne cram all the pasta into the pot, then turned up the heat as high as he could before Sans stopped him from burning the house down.

Then Undyne and Papyrus ate their spaghetti while the rest ate Toriel’s pie. “wow, dude. you’re making a lot of progress. this is almost edible.” Sans had a sample of Papyrus’s spaghetti.

“SHUT UP SANS! YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND PERFECTION!” Papyrus retorted.

“Listen… I hear something overhead! It sounds like the Heart of Gold!” Asgore said.

“Really? Wow, I would like to see what new developments Serif’s made in his power,” Alphys said.

Everyone went out of the house into Snowdin to see that the Heart of Gold was, in fact, landed right outside. Inside the Heart of Gold, Daphnes was still brushing his loftwing’s head, whilst also updating his Quiver, Bomb Bag and his wallet, making him having an infinite amount of Arrows, Bombs, and Rupees.

“So, Serif, how many moons has it been since you were last here in this Fandom?” Daphnes asked Serif.

“Not long, actually. I was leaving here to do Luna’s job when I found you. C’mon, I’ll show you around.” Serif treated everyone to a small tour. “This is Snowdin, one of the most well-known places in Undertale. It’s like the second capital,” Serif said.

“Well, it’s definitely snowy,” Sniper said.

“That’s the Snowdin Shop, you can buy all sorts of items there, but it’s known for its bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls, though personally, I prefer a Bisicle,” Serif said.

“You eat bikes?” Engie said, confused.

“Not a bicycle, silly. A Bisicle. It’s like a two-use popsicle,” Serif clarified.

“This is a peaceful place, I almost feel as if we can rest here,” Lucario said telepathically.

“Yeah, Undertale’s great like that,” Serif said.

“Well, where can we stay for one night?” Olimar asked.

“That would be the inn. The owner of the Inn and that of the shop are sisters, so their businesses are in the same building,” Serif said, continuing with his tour. “Over there’s the library.” Serif pointed to a building with a sign that said “LIBRARBY”.

“Then why does the sign say Librarby instead of Library?” Android 17 said, noticing the misspelled sign.

“I’ve told them about it, but they keep saying they've got someone working on it,” Serif said. The group continued past small houses and many monsters gathered around a Christmas tree.

“I thought you all went to the surface when that Frisk kid broke that one barrier,” Kakashi said, in an asking way.

“Well, we all lived on the surface for a while, until most of us got nostalgia and went back under. Then that Serif guy became our lord, so we thought we would have to obey him, but he wanted to do his own thing, so King Asgore stayed in charge. *sigh* thaaaaaat’s politics!” said a nearby bear.

“That’s Grillby’s, the local tavern,” Serif said, pointing out a nearby building.

“YO! SERIF!” a nearby child called.

“And that’s Monster Kid,” he added, pointing to the monster running up to him. The kid fell on his face as he ran, but got himself back up and approached the group.

“I’m assuming he doesn’t have perfect balance… But I’m not going to be insensitive about it,” Daphnes said.

“Nice to see ya, Serif. I thought that was your ship,” Monster Kid said. “Whoa! Who are all these people?”

“These are my friends, Daphnes, Sniper, Engineer, Android 17, Lucario, Kakashi, Olimar, and Krillin,” Serif said. “Now we gotta get going. We have to find something important. Can you tell me where Asgore is?”

“The king? Yeah, he’s just over there,” Monster Kid said. Then the group walked up to where Asgore, Toriel, Frisk, Napstablook, Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, Alphys, and Mettaton were gathered.

“Oh! Uhhh… Hey, Serif, what are you doing in town?” Napstablook asked, trying hard not to be awkward.

“We need to talk to Asgore. In private,” Serif said.

“UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN, HUMANS. YOU HAVE YET TO GAIN THE TRUST OF THE FANDOM AND SO I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL STOP YOU!” Papyrus said.

“I’M HYLIAN! NOW WILL PEOPLE STOP CONFUSING ME FOR A HUMAN WHEN I HAVE EARS THAT AREN’T EVEN CLOSE TO RESEMBLING HUMAN EARS?!” Daphnes roared, enraged that Papyrus didn’t know what he was, and was about to draw his blade, only to get knocked out from behind by Krillin.

“Sorry about him, he can get offended of what he is called instead of what he is.” Krillin took Daphnes inside and put him onto the couch.

“And plus, these guys are with me,” Serif said.

“VERY WELL THEN, SERIF! YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS MAY PASS!” Papyrus said.

“Now, why did you want to talk to me?” Asgore asked.

“So you know that prophecy all Fangea won’t shut up about? Well turns out it’s real, and it’s happening now. We’re looking for the Dark Candles and I think the one you were given long ago is still here,” Serif said.

“Yeah, and turns out, three people are after the candles… We’ve lost three already, but we are not about to lose another one.” Goku said.

“I see… Well, I had the candle at my castle for a while, but I gave it to Alphys for her research,” Asgore said.

“Do you know where Alphys kept it at all?” Android 17 said.

“Well if Alphys still has the candle, it would be in her lab in Hotland,” Serif said.

“Except that she once gave it to me to use as a prop for my show,” Mettaton said.

“Well then where is it now?” Engie said.

“I gave it signed to one of my fans, a very deserving Temmie,” Mettaton said.

Daphnes was starting to regain consciousness, and got off the couch. “And where’d they go exactly?” Daphnes asked, overhearing everyone talking in his sleep, and getting up to hearing the conversation.

“oh hey sleepyhead, have any mad dreams?” Sans asked before Papyrus started screaming.

“No, but I was overhearing your conversation.” Daphnes grabbed onto his scabbard, and put it onto his back, whilst also grabbing his shield, and put it on his back as well. “Sorry for making a giant fuss about who I am… But even still, don’t call me human again, please.” Daphnes grabbed almost all of his gear, except for a piece of food that Toriel set in the kitchen.

“You gave it to a Temmie?” Serif said to Mettaton.

“Yes… why?” the robot responded.

”Then where is this ‘Temmie’ exactly?” Daphnes asked Mettaton.

“I’d assume in Temmie village with the other Temmies,” Mettaton said.

“Serif, can you at least get us there quickly, since… I have no idea how to actually get there,” Daphnes said.

“Sure can! It’s in Waterfall. Follow me,” Serif said.

Then he led the group through a massive swamp with boardwalks over most of the water. On the way in, they passed a waterfall when Daphnes got knocked down by a falling rock, only to teleport back up and start flying instead.

“How are rocks that strong to knock me down like-... nevermind,” Daphnes said. Serif then showed those who couldn’t fly how to use bridge seeds. Daphnes saw a cavern off to the side of where Serif was going. He went down it and saw a quiche under a bench. “What’s with the Quiche?” Daphnes said. He was then overcome with the urge to take care of the Abandoned Quiche. “Well, whoever made this wasn’t able to handle the responsibility,” he said. Taking the quiche with him, he rejoined the group as they went into a cave with a simulacrum of the night sky on the ceiling.

“The entire underground’s now enchanted with a rising sun, moon and even weather, courtesy Kid Icarus, more specifically Palutena,” Serif said.

“Wow... angels, am I right?” Krillin said. “Aw crap, was that racist?”

“I have no idea, Krillin… but let’s not say that to any specific angel...” Daphnes said to Krillin. Then they came to a room with a table on which was some crystallized cheese. “Why is there cheese here? And why is it encased in Crystal? Nevermind, Probably an effect waterfall has on stationary objects for too long,” Daphnes said.

Then the group found Sans. “oh heya kid, wanna take a look in my telescope? it's free for you,” he asked.

“Uhhh, sure,” Krillin said. He looked, and the telescope punched him in the eye.

Krillin Owned Count +1

“Owww! What’s with the telescope man?” Krillin said.

“oh, you didn’t like it? do you want a refund?” Sans said.

“Uhhhh dude, you said it was free,” Serif said.

“exactly,” Sans said. The group then left Sans and went into a long corridor occupied by a certain Onionsan.

“Oh hi Serif, didja hear? They enlarged my room and gave me an outlet to the ocean! It comes out in some place called Hyrule! And that means I don’t have to sit down all the time and I can hang out in the underground I love! Anyways, enjoy your visit to Waterfallllllllll...” Onionsan said.

“We will, but we hope you have a good day, sir. Also, it’s nice to know that we can get the best of both worlds in this regard,” Daphnes said. They then came to a room with a statue covered by an umbrella that played music, a piano, and two monsters, named Lemon Bread and Shyren. “Is there anything else we need to know about waterfall from here on out? Also, why did one of them look… unnatural? On second thought I don’t want to know, probably insensitive,” Daphnes said.

“We’re flying from here. The cave’s open enough,” Serif said, taking flight with his rocket boots. The others followed as best they could over a dump and a snail farm, landing in an area with glowing blue trees.

“So where is the place?” Engie said.

“Through here,” Serif said, walking through a wall.

“Is he bloody serious on this one?” Sniper said.

“We can’t doubt him now, we might as well take a leap of faith,” Android 17 said.

Then the group followed Serif through the wall into a most strange village. It was populated by dog-like creatures that from what Daphnes could figure out were called Temmies. Serif went to a hole in the wall with several signs advertising something called the tem shop, and Daphnes wanted to know more.

“hOI! welcom to... da TEM SHOP!!!” The temmie inside said.

“Do you know where a lightless candle would be at good sir?” Daphnes asked the Temmie who owned the Tem Shop.

“yaya, But… who ask? HUH?!?!? Why u need know dat? Buyer confidentiality verrrry impor!” The Temmie replied.

“Because We’re trying to stop something evil from emerging, sir… er, Madam… This is confusing,” Daphnes said, his eyes almost about to cross in on themselves.

“Lord think buyer migh be bad news, wants to stop! Tem help lord?” Serif said.

“Hmmm… ONLY COS’ U LORD!!!” Temmie said. “Tem sell candl 2 tringl boi! Tringl pay lots muns! Now tem go 2 gradskul! YAYA!!!”

“Thx. bOI!!!” Serif said.

“Looks like Cipher got to the candle first… again. We’re down 0-4, and they’re one step closer to their goals… We need to find out who or what Dimentio, Flowey, and Cipher serve under before the ritual’s complete,” Daphnes said.

“There aren’t many ways out of the underground, and it’s too narrow to fly a ship through. If I have Asgore make a certain announcement and we hurry we can catch them!” Serif said, pulling out his phone. “Asgore! I need you to enact a partial closure of barrier gate! Don’t let anyone leave without being searched for the candle! But only take the candle! Leave everything else alone! If you find the candle or someone who looks like a triangle tell me!” Serif then hung up as the announcement was noised throughout the underground.

“Smart thinking on your part Serif, now all we need to do is get to Bill Cipher before he leaves with the Candle!” Android 17 said, running straight to where he thought Bill might head to.

“The capital. It’s the only reliable way in or out,” Serif said. “And there isn’t a shortcut or secret passage that Sans and I don’t know about. Sans and I will check them all, you go for the capital.” Serif vanished down one of the secret passages. Immediately Daphnes, Android 17, Engineer, Sniper, Krillin, Goku, Olimar, and Lucario all went straight to where the Capital was, and Daphnes saw something he knew only one knows how to use… A Persona? \
3!!! 2!!! 1, GO!!!!!

Immediately he stopped and saw who the Persona was linked to: A man with bowl-shaped silver hair and gray eyes, wearing what looked similar to a high school uniform, while wearing gray glasses and holding a Katana, whilst fighting Bill Cipher.

“So, why did ya try to stop me, High schooler??” Bill said before the Persona struck him.

“...Like I stated before to another who tried to threaten this world: I’m no mere high schooler. I’ve taken down demons fiercer than you, but not on my own.” The man tried to cut the candle out of Bill’s hands, and he successfully cut off Bill’s arm, but… something wasn’t right… the candle was still floating in mid-air.

“OH NO! MY ARM!! Not! Seriously, you think that would’ve harmed me? I’ve seriously fought a guy who controls time and still won, what makes you think a Katana is able to cut me in half? good workout regiment though!” Bill had his arm reattach itself in place. The man looked surprised when suddenly a flurry of blue spears flew over him.

“That’s the triangle! NGAHHHHHHHH!!!” Undyne said, trying to close into melee but being confused by Bill’s reality-warping attacks.

“HE LOOKS MORE LIKE A DORITO. DORITO, PREPARE TO FACE MY SPECIAL ATTACK!!!” Papyrus said, following Undyne.

“Oh goody, an attack that I won’t take any damage from ‘cuz I know how to beat it,” Bill said, holding still as a blue bone passed through him.

“HMMM… PERHAPS IT’S TIME FOR MY OTHER SPECIAL ATTACK!” Papyrus said, before the man’s Persona, known as Izanagi, stabbed Bill straight in the eye, and ripped it straight out of its socket. Then Asgore noticed something- Bill didn’t have the candle- Flowey did. Toriel and Asgore charged him but were held back by the sudden appearance of a wall of Dimentios as Flowey burrowed away.

“Not this time! DRILL!” Daphnes said, burrowing after Flowey, catching up to him and striking Dimentios, taking damage. Suddenly a rocket hit the ground above Flowey, then a Gaster Blaster was aimed through the hole. But then Flowey was forced to surface as the ground leading up to the gate was too dense. Immediately the man caught up and Flowey threw the candle off the cliff, and he tried to catch it, but it was caught by the real Dimentio, flying up with the Pillar of Autumn. Bill and Flowey teleported into it and the ship flew away before the man said one word.

“PERSONA!” immediately Izanagi tried catching up and ripped off one of the engines, slowing it down, but not enough to stop it from escaping.
GAME!!!!!
“How’d you do that? The only one I know who could summon a Persona was a thief named Joker, and he’s with a friend of ours at the moment,” Lucario asked the man.

“Whoever this ‘Joker’ is, he’s not the only one to possess the Wildcard ability. My name is Yu Narukami, nice to meet you,” Yu formally introduced himself before bowing in front of them, seeming respectful.

“Yo, I’m Serif,” Serif said, introducing himself.

“17. An honor to meet another ally,” Android 17 said.

“Captain Olimar of the SS Dolphin, at your service.” Olimar saluted him.

“Dell Conagher, but call me Engineer, or Engie if ya want, nice to meet ya,” Engie said.

“Me actual name is Mundy, but I go by Sniper, a pleasure to meet you.” Sniper removed his hat and showed respect to Yu.

“I am known as Lucario, nothing more nothing less… it will be an honor to fight by your side,” Lucario bowed.

“Name’s Krillin, Strongest Human around, Father and Husband. Nice to meet ya!” Krillin shook Yu’s hand.

“My name is Goku, and I’m a Saiyan who’s literally fought gods before, nice to meet ya!” Goku said, being as polite as he could be.

“And I am Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, and/or ‘The Green Knight’ if you prefer. I don’t want to be called that, but your call.” Daphnes said, before holding his arm, which had been burned during him trying to pierce through the 20 Dimentio’s that blocked him.

“It’s an honor to meet you all, but those Candles are dangerous… We can’t seem to catch a break with these, can we?” Yu asked, before remembering one thing: he knew where a candle was.

Krillin interrupted his train of thought with a question. “Hey guys, doesn’t it take a while for the clouds to block the sun? And do they usually look like that?”
