I love this story I especially like how it can go from light hearted and cute too deep and thought provoking.

I thank you, one of the things I always dread when reading stories, my own and from others, is that they'd get caught in a loop of letting the reader feel just one emotion until it gets stale. I hope you enjoy my future chapters as well, I will write a little bit tomorrow on another story, and then I will start writing the next chapter for this and "The Game: Aether and Mind". Till then, I wish you a great time.
Well... I see not many people read this or at least comment anyways. That's unfortunate... This is a really good story in my books which I have reread 2 or 3 times before.

I'm happy that you enjoy it, but you are right that only very few people still comment. It is somewhat heartbreaking when a thousand people read your chapter, but less than a fifth bothers to like/dislike and maybe a tenth even considers to comment.

It's a really good story with a sad(kind of sad) backstory. Pulling from memorizes alone it's clear that what Auriel went through in the past really hurt her emotionally. Even in the later parts of the story, it hints she still is still kind of hurt and has seen things mortals shouldn't see. She hides things(inside the book) and from her reaction, it's clear she wants things to stay away. Right now it's still unclear if she's hiding it for their own good or something more personal. However, simply hiding things puts something into question. When she's around others, does she wear a mask or show her true self?
Now for those that Have read the story but don't remember much of it I got the quotes here.
Notice how her "happiness" is described as a "curse". Also, notice how she wishes to could still have the same emotions as them. This brings a few questions to mind.
Is this "curse" the price for knowing? Is her innocent attitude part of it. To prevent something based on what she knows or to prevent or from going insane?
Is this happiness preventing her from truly living life?
She wants to be with her creation but cannot truly be with them because of this Cursed Mask.
Now, this is something that could be Capitalized on for story development or not. Depending on what Zwillingen wants. I like to read between the lines. But personally this could be used to form a deeper connection with the charter by let's say... somepony noticed and decides to investigate. That leaves up so many options for the Author and only more questions.
Now, this is the type of story I like. A story with a deeper meaning. Some deeper hidden meaning which only leaves questions. Whether accidental or not this is a story I will be keeping an eye on for a long time.
Tbh I could honestly go on about all the other things I like about this story but for a story like this, this is my favorite part. The subtle meaning behind the text that means a lot more than meets the eye. Stories that have subtle yet emotional meaning such as A Little Loopy, Anthropology, Background Pony, and the Divine series. These stories have some really emotional meanings and that's what I like. Though most are tragic and sad it's usually just what I tend to find.
These stories along some others left a dark void in my heart. I guess the stories like these have more of an impact on me personally.
Edit: I just realized I have come back to reread this story more than a few times. Which means this goes onto my MasterPiece list which is reserved for stories I Will or Have gone back to reread multiply times and enjoyed it. My sacred favorites a for stories I might go back and reread maybe once or twice and even so I may not have enjoyed the story as much as the first time. My favorites are for stories I've read that are pretty good stories but am not likely to go back to. Im likely to just look at it a remember reading it and being like, "oh yeah, that story was pretty good."
Oh wait... It did use that one paragraph (from my last comment on this story) to foreshadow a bit in the very next chapter... this is what... my third? Maybe? My third time rereading this story. Normally I would have been gone longer but the fact I can't find anything good to read makes it easier to go back to reread stories.
